We struggled to make our house our home due to the damp restricting decorations so decided to get a quote. Chris was honest from the get go and clear the house would require a lot of work but transparent on the problems and solutions available.

We have a busy house hold of 3 children but the workforce were great at communicating and respecting our daily movements. They also prioritised areas to assist with our youngest who has SEN.

This the people in this company are so accommodating. They move fast, are super friendly from the first phone call to the end of the job. Our house was built circa 1931. We had rising damp due to a failed DPC and penetrative damp as a result of salt and nitrates from a chimney that had been removed several years ago. I spent a lot of time searching for the right local company to carry out the work, reading as many reviews from customers as possible. Easy Damp UK came out on top! Chris Smith conducted a thorough survey and went through possible options to resolve the problem. I wish I had kept notes at the time of the visit but Chris and Haley were always on the phone to clarify things and provided confirmation by e mail.
When the day came “Team Easy Damp” arrived on my doorstep promptly and full of energy. Lee and Hayden outlined the day to day activity as the project progressed, although I didn’t fully appreciate the need for dwell times for adhesives and plaster to set off! 🤦🏻‍♂️ During the time the team were with us we ensured they were well watered and a sandwich was available! I think it was Napoleon Bonaparte who said an army can’t march on an empty stomach. Well this team really got stuck in on a daily basis, most impressive! However, the schedule was rocked with the discovery of a chimney in the dining room that needed urgent action. The team reacted swiftly, professionally and offered a suitable solution and the problem was resolved very swiftly. Needless to say there was an impact on the schedule, but let me be clear, the work involved installing a DPC, installing a membrane and plastering a gable end wall in the master bedroom, chimney breast in the back bedroom, four walls and a fireplace in the dining room, one wall in the lounge, the replacement of skirting boards and rendering outside brickwork. To say the work was extensive and filled with the odd surprise “Team Easy Damp” rose to the challenge. We had to vacate the premises whilst the work was carried out, the bathroom and kitchen were the only rooms still functional although the kitchen was cordoned off to prevent dust infiltration. We sampled five different Premiere Inns locally and will hopefully return home this weekend. I would advise anyone not to underestimate the amount of disruption this type of work can cause.
However I can only thank the team for their hard work, professionalism and great customer service. I would have no hesitation in recommending Easy Damp UK to anyone needing damp issues rectifying.

From start to finish, Chris and Hayley have been amazing. Supporting my survey, supplying extra information needed from my lender and conducting the works on my new home.
They are so understanding about the stressful nature about buying a home, the cost it takes for some of the works and the best ways to explain to the customer the benefits, and costs over a longer period.
Lee also was amazing, him and the guys conducted our works, but he called to clarify, and even checked when i was available after they had finished the works to meet me in person and go through the next steps ie, how i go about painting etc after the works had been done and gave his person details for any questions i may have.

What a team! Easydamp have restored my faith in human nature. They are extremely professional.
