I have a really cold house in specific rooms - and whilst thinking about what to do about it I approached these guys slightly cautiously ... I'm not a big DIY guy and didn't want to get dragged into spending 000s.

I needn't have worried - their consultant, after getting some basic info off me - walked my through my menu of options and the costs of each. He was very straightfoward and didn't sugar-coat or upsell anything - laid out what the realistic choices and benefits were along with how hard / costly each "level" of response would be.

6 months later I've now retro-fitted half my house with legit underfloor wood fibre insulation and upgraded my heating system to be more smart/targeted

I have an ancient boiler from c2000 that I didn't have to change, and installation of the smart stuff was 1-2 hrs all in - all for around £1.3k which i didn't hope to get away with and I have a load of material left. I plan to do the rest in spring
