I visited this hotel, and the staff lady was nice, but the pictures featured are not what this hotel looks like in person. The first floor is out of service for remodel. The room that was rented to me had an old window unit. I witnessed the housekeeper/maintenance lady removing gray duct tape from the air conditioner frame and put white tape to hide the electrical wires that are not at all safe. The room was old and had a dark odor. The comforter was old, and the hotel is not as advertised in the pictures. The hotel needs to not be on the Choice list for preferred hotels. A man was intoxicated in the parking lot. The staff lady left me standing at the counter to deal with him. When I drove up, the staff lady and others were hanging out at the hotel office entrance. I was scared the place was not up to the standards of other hotels I have stayed. And by the handicap parking spot, an old pinic table is about 5 to 6 hanging out. And at 12 midnight for a woman traveling alone, that was not a good thing. The choice representative first one wouldn't cancel my stay. Had to call back at 1am in the middle of San Angelo at a near Walmart to another representative who took the time to find me a safe place.

THIS PLACE WAS SO COMFORTABLE! We drove all night and needed to check in early, NOT ONLY did they allow us to check in at the earliest convenience but also took time(while busy) to refer us to some places to kill the little time we had to wait! Mrs. Becky Bird and her staff were super friendly and sweet! We had no problems whatsoever! If you want to be treated with respect and kindness, this is where you should stay!

Excellant Management and staff. Rooms are very comfortable and nicely arranged. Housekeeping go out of their way to make sure everything is clean and smells fantastic. Lobby and outside are kept in mint condition. Christmas lights get you into the Christmas spirit, and management has decorated the inside and outside with beautiful decorations that will make anyone jolly. My family and I will definitely be staying here in the future on every visit to San Angelo. The ladies in the office were so friendly and helpful.

Poor poor hotel. I wouldn't bring my wife or my 4 daughters NOR MY DOGS!! at this hotel. It was royally horrible. I have videos of alarms going off randomly. The hotel and walls look like a run down section 8. My carpet was moist and not level. I was taking my Osha exams and I'm thinking of a inspection is in order. I didn't know if the hotel would burn to the ground with all these alarms. Visually beyond poor. Videos of halls with paint patches. Ceiling hanging wire. Internet didn't work half the time. As cheap as t.vs are mine was incredibly small held up with hanger wire have pics of that as well

The staff were really sweet, we had people banging on our room door and I don't remember her name but she moved us to an upstairs room and it was very very clean and cozy my daughter and son loved it! Brandon who is over the housekeeping is very amazing the sweetest guy that you will ever meet! For the price of the rooms isn't bad at all either you definitely will get your money worth if you stay at this hotel. ...... So yeah they get a five star from me and my twins!!!!

I only gave it one star because the staff was friendly but I would not recommend this place AT ALL!!!
It is very dirty, our room had at lease a one inch game on the bottom and 1/2 inch on the side so you could see/hear people walk by. The floors were so dirty and the spell of cigarette filled the room even though it was non-smoking. There was mold in the AC and it was filthy and so were the curtains. There was mold spots in the corners of the ceiling and the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in because the wood was cracked and the door would not shut. The light fixture did not work in our room and the hot water took about 5 minutes to finally come through the pipes. The pictures on this site are so not what you see when you pull up and the neighborhood is so sketchy. I was so disappointed and because we were so tired from the drive and ended up in this mess. On the plus, we won a free roll of toilet paper for staying...LOL.
NEVER AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The staff was friendly and the breakfast bags were a treat. The hotel is going through some remodeling and it really looks nice. The new manager is definitely bringing new life to the place. Can't wait to see what's changed on my next trip. See you in January!
