Let's start with LOL. I'm a full time landlord with many commercial sites, my late father was in the same game so over 40 years experience. The story goes, one of my commercial properties is rented out with a legitimate 5 year lease. I receive a letter saying as the landlord I owe 7 852 pounds, reason being they can't get in contact with the people who rent the shop. These is unbelievable the same tenants are in there and the shop is still open . I'm trying to explain it to them they are not having it. Time for soclistor please stay away from these unprofessional company.

Despite consistently providing accurate meter readings, with charges typically around £250 per month, this company continually ignores them and opts instead for aggressively overestimated readings, often charging up to £1000 per month directly from my bank account. Addressing this issue requires multiple emails and substantial evidence to secure a refund. Dealing with this situation monthly adds significant stress to daily life, feeling akin to a constant battle against unwarranted charges.

They are not even worth 1 star but unfortunately it's the only way to voice my opinions on Ecotricity.
They are unbelievably and blatantly thiefs and are getting away with it. I am discusted with their ways of trying to get all they can out of anyone. I don't even know where to begin with the amount of times they have tried to scam me for. I am glad to see the back of this company and I shall continue to advise anyone who I might talk to regarding energy companies not to consider Ecotricity!

Brilliant company. It's not just about Dale Vince, though I am sure the morale of company employees and the service to customers is very much his 'thing'. An excellent company all round with responsive customer services and a human voice there to talk to. So different from other companies where phone queues are endless and they seem to treat you like a number. Couldn't recommend Ecotricity highly enough.

Ecotricity has taken over a year to sort out an issue with the meter associated to our flat. And once this issue was sorted they charged us the full reading in the meter instead of the substation between the reading the previous month and the last... they are not even capable of making a subtraction. Their consideration for their customers is non-existent even on the phone, it is like talking with a wall. If you want to avoid yourself many problems and the posibility of a company messing with your bills to try to tie you up for longer, don't choose ecotricity.

For over a year now their estimated electricity readings have been far more than my actual usage, and yet whenever I submit an actual reading, even one time with a photo of the meter as requested by them, they ignore it and continue with their over-estimated reading. They have even ignored a reading taken by a third party meter reader who visited my house. My account is showing as over £600 in credit, but if their over-estimate was taken into account it would be even more.

I have sent in 2 complaints over 6 months, they have closed these complaints without my consent, I believe they were not resolved.
Proof can be provided.
We are a vulnerable household on the priority register, they know this yest their advice and support is to give to lower the standing charge but higher the price of the tariff.
They are forcing me to stay on a pay as you go meter.
I have followed all their advice and nothing from them but lots or being ignored.
Proof they do their best to ignore vulnerable households, they even know that I have had my gas capped and continue to charge standing charges. I had my gas capped so I can afford to pay their high prices, they admitted, via email and on the phone they was the most expensive supplier so they can put the resources back into renewable energy.
I have tried switching but I won't go to the only company that will have me
