All I can say is 5 stars are not enough to show how fantastic this company/ Alison is.
She helped me clean up my laptop, halving the storage I had accumulated, as well as showing me how easy it is to retrieve it when it's needed.
Alison has so much knowledge which helps novices like me, & I can envision myself using their expertise again I the future.
I will also be recommending Eildon IT Consultants to others I know with computers.

If you’re looking for someone to help you with knotty computer problems, then look no further than Eildon It Training & Consulting based in Haddington, in the person of Alison Lowe. Alison was recommended to me and I, in turn, can’t recommend her highly enough. She is competent and professional. Flexibility is the hallmark of her one to one IT sessions. It’s the client who sets the agenda and the pace. One can even contact her between sessions for advice, if you feel you need to and she also sends useful notes after each session. Conducted in her pleasant Haddington office, the session begins with a tea or coffee! The hour passes all too quickly, one learns a lot and it’s fun.

Eildon IT was recommended to me when I purchased a new computer.
I am registered partially sighted and I also use a hearing aid.
I have been retired for 7 years, and when I opened up the computer, I was absolutely lost.
I met Alison for a first consultancy over a cup of tea and admired her friendliness and professionalism, thereafter, I attended Eildon for tuition.
I found Alison's teaching and guidance clear and easy to follow. I immediately felt at ease with her.
A few days later this was followed up with specific notes to me which are clear and precise.

Alison created a welcoming and inspiring learning experience that covered all issues. I benefited from her extensive knowledge, skills and experience all of which are very evident during the sessions. I have been involved in using computers since I was at university 55 years ago and developed my personal way of using them as new software and programmes progressed. However, over the last few years, software updates gradually made my computer prowess frustratingly difficult and no longer user-friendly.
I was put in touch with Alison Low of Eildon IT Training, who came to see me and listened to my frustrations which she fully understood and managed to reset my thinking on to another track and now I am once again totally conversant with my laptop which is once more in “user-friendly mode” for me.
To me, Alison’s great asset (apart from her wide computer knowledge), was her ability to listen and empathise with my frustrations and be able to show and persuade me how to overcome them. She also provided me with superb backup notes that helped me feel confident in using my new way of working with my laptop.
