I've been buying this fuel for about 6 years. It always had a directional squirty nozzle in it, which was a safety feature to stop it spilling. Recently, to "save the planet," they removed this safety feature. Now my house is burned out because even using the supplied funnel with the biofire, the fuel spills. I did not see a little spill, now my legs and arms are burned and my house a mess.. and rubbish, they removed it to save plastic
They removed it because of cost, and just before they removed it, there was an issue with the nozzle not seating properly in the bottle... I mean, why fix something, when you can save money and provide a less safe product huh🤬 I'll be seeking legal address, my advice to you all, is buy a product with this safety feature, not Ekofuel. Well, for one ekoluars, releasing my purchasing data to tge wired is a breech of GDPR.. you'll be hearing from me. Everyone else.. believe what you like, until your house is on fire...UPDATE: just used the Internet Archive to look at Ekofuels website ,as it was in 2023... the so called not a safety cap, is described on their website as a "safety cap" that and I quote directly "to ensure that a postive flow of liquid is always achieved when dispensing the liquid"
Caught you in your lie ekofuel...see you in court.

Great value for money very efficient delivery never had to contact them so can not comment on customer service and iv been buying my oil from ekofuel for afew years now

Always buy our fuel from this company, however last batch, had difficulty opening the bottles and then found there was no internal spout! ( disability with hands, spout helped to fill the fire, with no spillage)
Called the company and asked about the spouts, spoke to a condescending man, whose excuse for no longer fitting the spouts was to be more eco friendly, really? When all the bottles are plastic!
Going to think about buying my regular 48 litres from a different supplier!

I ordered 24 litres and there was a picking error and they only sent 12 - I emailed them straight away and they apologised and gave me a partial refund. My issue is that I didn’t want a refund - I wanted the other 12 bottles that I had ordered- I emailed straight away to ask if I could just have the other 12 bottles instead and it was a firm no. The refund I was issued wasn’t enough to order the other 12 bottles…. So now I’m going to have to pay extra to receive the rest of my order. I’ve emailed again to complain and they’ve just said ‘that was our decision’ how is that fair Ekofuel? I only wanted the rest of my order. And I tried to leave this review on their own website and it wasn’t published - guessing they only want the positive ones….

Can't fault Ekofuel themselves, orders are dispatched very quickly, however Fed Ex are letting this fine company down. Given day and delivery time for the last two orders, no show AM as promised, then no show by 6 pm again as promised. Fuel finally arrived the following day, explanation; due to General? Why promise a time slot you can't meet and cause customers to wait in for a delivery that ain't coming?

Thought this fuel has good heat and lasts. But the smell after you put it out is disgusting 🫣 it lingers, I have to open the back door window to get rid of the burning metal smell. I have used different bioethanol an no bad smell when i put fire out. Does anyone else experience this? Just reviews say odourless

Place an order every year from Ekofuel for bioethanol since 2016.

The fuel is of high quality and odourless. When used a litre will last around 6 hours delivering enough heat to keep a large living room warm.

Buy in bulk, comes in at £2 per litre.

Delivery arrives within 24 hours of placing the order with GPS tracking of the order.

Great product and in the past 100% happy.
Sadly now delivery needs a person at the property and dealing with the person at ekofuel is frustrating and impossible. Gave up bought elsewhere and the promised refund has not happened. Shame, must be a new person as in past service was amazing.
