Attended a great workshop on van safety and electrics. James clearly knows his stuff but explained well enough for a novice like me. A very relaxed atmosphere with lots of banter too. I don't know of anywhere else that offers this kind of workshop and it was well worth the 200 mile journey to attend.

I've just completed the Electrimech workshop facilitated by James, which is absolutely gold dust to anyone starting out with their self-build campervans who wants to stay safe and avoid costly mistakes.
With lots of conflicting ideas and information available on the web regarding many areas of campervan building but especially electrical installations, James was able to give professional and impartial advice which has helped shaped my approach to completing my project.
A personalised service and happy to explain everything in an easy-to-understand manner.

Plus the Scotch eggs at dinner were exceptional ?!

What great service. Dropped our van in for some diags work and then a subsequent new battery/solar setup. Great communication and service overall. James was friendly and really helpful and knowledge. Fantastic service throughout. James is a real credit to the industry. He tidied up all the electrics, fitted a new leisure battery and solar panel to my VW T6. His comms/advice superb and very helpful. Don't think twice about using Electrimech, I would highly recommend ?

We were at Electrimech Power Services at the end of June to have our campervan leisure battery upgraded to Lithium and a few upgrades to the 12v system. We also attended the safety course offered by James on the Saturday.
We arrived early on the Friday and enjoyed a quality cooked breakfast in the cafe opposite the workshop which is also operated by Electrimech.
To date the lithium battery is working better than expected and the upgrades have made the campervan easier to live in. We have taken the advice freely given by James with no pressure and are very happy with the results. Craig from Peregrine campers was extremely helpful and again happy to advise when quizzed on everything camper related.
This company has a professional attitude mixed with a fun and light hearted presence. We traveled to Hull from Kent to have the work completed on our van We were prepared to make that considerable journey based on the reviews left by others and our previous in person visit to Hull. We both enjoyed the safety course which was very informative and proved to us that there is always something new to learn. The buffet lunch was lovely.
All in all we highly recommend Electrimech and would not hesitate to use their services again. A well deserved 5 star rating.

Electrical workshop.
What a great experience this was. James delivered the presentation perfectly and it taught me quite a few things. The practical side was very interesting too. I would recommend everyone to go on this course. I am very confident at attacking most aspects of the 12v system now. Thank you james....
The lunch is highly recommended too, especially the scotch eggs lol....
