Broke down today Called them early morning 9:10 AM they took all the details and replied that within 1.5 hours they will be here. After an hour got a text “From now till 11:20 Am they can arrive any time”
Then 11:14 Am received a text “Estimated arrival time is 11:53Am” Waited till 12:00PM called them took ages to pick up the call then at helpline customer services agent said “The person we have hired for you doesnt have anything to pick your longwheel based van you need to wait for an hour he will be there” Waited, Called them after 1 hour and 10 mins and helpline said the same thing again “I just called the agent he said we have just got something to pickup longwheel based van so you need to wait for 30-40 more minutes.
Been over 40 minutes now dont know what to do still on the road thought i must share the reality.
Been almost 4.5 hours being stuck on main road.
HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

The online access and application form was very straightforward. I took the offer of 3 years for £58.00. This represents to me amazing value for money. Hopefully the standard of service will be
equally as high as and when I need help on the road. I have high hopes.

Took out insurance without checking the reviews first. After checking the reviews that had many shocking ones I decided to cancel as the policy hadn't even started. Made phone call on hold 25 minutes to cancel a policy so feel I made the right move. Was told I would be charged a £10 admin fee even though I was cancelling within 14 days. They didn't end up charging it. May be an ok company but from what I have encountered I would be wary.

I signed up to EA in Sept. 2018. The covid shut down started in March 2019?. 2 weeks later, I was taking food up the A146 and just outside Norwich clutch packed up, into lay-by, phoned EA, rescue arrived 30 mins later. Soon parked next to repair shop, (it was not open but had parking space). It was an unusual time but it worked for me! Well done Emergency Assist, and the rescue driver, A big thank you.

Took over 4 hours to get us, call handler sent recovery truck to different place, even though we gave the exact road. Recovery took us to a closed garage which would be closed all bank holiday weekend. No offer of onward travel to home even though policy clearly states I had premium.
Tried calling to complain and they lied to me about forwarding complaint, and emailed complaint and they fob you off with generic messages which they clearly haven't listened to the calls.
Avoid this company. Lost a customer

Waste of time. Side lights left on overnight on an older car that doesn't tell you that lights are on when you exit the car. Rang for a call out and said the battery is flat. When they asked if there was a likely cause, they were told the truth...then said you're not covered for that...so what the hell does the policy cover. This provider is an UTTER waste of time. Next time the extra will be paid for a reputable and reliable break down provision. Others would come out for such circumstances...leaving lights on is a typical silly mistake and help was exactly what was needed. Steer very well clear of this lot!

Awful experience. Refused to help at 21:30 because I was at a place of repair. Please see picture to see place of repair. Yep a closed shell garage. ‘Should have stayed on the motorway’ according to the advisor. Awful customer service and happy for me to put my life at risk. Won’t be using ever again

Wanted to cancel as purchased a new car. They tried to bill me for FULL year’s membership 20 days after taking out the membership. Also never answer the phone. Total rip off company. **DO NOT USE**
