Serious Data Loss — Proceed with Caution

Everything Tech Group is run by the same directors (Mark Allen and Phil Smith) who previously managed Cardium Outsourcing Limited (trading as Your Office Anywhere), which suffered a major cyber-attack in March 2025.

As a client at the time, we weren’t informed of the breach for days. It took nearly a month to receive any backup data — most of which was encrypted and unusable. This raised serious concerns about their backup procedures. Ultimately, all customer data was lost.

Shortly after, the company went into administration, abandoning clients without systems, data, or support. Promises to help with recovery were withdrawn, and no responsibility was acknowledged by the directors.

I strongly urge any potential customer to ask detailed questions about their data protection policies — and if they can’t show robust, verifiable backup systems, look elsewhere.

Shares directors with "sister" company Cardium Outsourcing Ltd / trading as Your Office Anywhere - which is under same corporate group/holdings, it too supplied cloud and remote desktop services. But massive security failures led to a ransomware attack, lots of YOA clients have now lost all their data to encryption, there was no backups either - awful experience did not match the service they advertised and or people had paid for. So dealing with the directors leads to only one conclusion this firm is best avoided.
