My husband started working at First Source Middlesbrough a few weeks ago. Unfortunately his son was admitted to intensive care at Freeman's hospital recently and my husband took time off work to be with him.
He was advised to get a fit note to cover his absence.
This was received by his team leader and reassured it had been forwarded to payroll.
Pay day came, no pày.
Team leader had not bothered to get the fit note to payroll.
2nd fit note was given by GP and my husband was advised to upload to a portal that employees use. No passwords were ever provided temporary password was given and fit note was sent. 2nd pay day came no pay.
We raised a grievance and was given a name to contact 3 days later no contact.
The upshot is we have no money begging and borrowing to pay bills and my husband is unable to travel to see his son or to get to work. A team leader at that point said she would try to get a bus ticket so my husband could get to work still nothing.
Disgraceful!
No help support and apparently no contact number for payroll or HR.

Really let dowm by the company. They recieved my sick note on the 17th december and confirmed management would sort this with admin as they didnt send a password to the system they expect you to fill your own admin out whilst on sick. No sortimg out no updated password whilst i was off. No support coming back. No pay on the propper day. Although they have systems in place to offer emergency pay in dire financial situations they have gave 70 for the pay after christmas for 2 weeks only and refuse to help my situation even though i dont have money to afforf to be able to get intk work. Massively disspointed in this company as when going through applications they do pretend to care in the beginning.

Terrible. Had a phone interview promised an interview the next day and then no reply and then told it was cancelled but they can’t provide a legitimate reason? Totally unprofessional and people working inside to keep people out they don’t know or like - disgusting company. Will be it further.

Felt like I didn't belong. Was bullied by the ops manager made comments on my weight and disability. Felt like I was being picked on, mental health first aider was useless and not supportive. Got let go for a first offence of uniform violation which wasn't actually a violation they just used anything they could against me. Take my advice...DO NOT WORK HERE

Very bad experience working life of mine. I TELL you guys do not work in there. The working environment is not good. No help at all, all they want robot in form of a human body. Work there similarly a robot and get paid low as HELL
