Food, service and surroundings at Fodder is excellent. We have just had Tea and a 'Swift Blondie'. Very generous portion size. Tea was piping hot, (with an extra pot of hot water for a hot up, without us even having to ask for one!)

Our waitress Rosie was very friendly, helpful and courteous. We have been working hard today and needed a rest. We got one at Fodder today! Thank you Team!
(The only reason you don't have a 5 star review is because the cake was a little too sweet for my palate. - But that is all down to personal taste. We'll be back, next time we're in Harrogate. 😁)

It is good but not as good as it used to be. After the refresh the food just not as good (I understand they used to have a chef), the last two times I have had to wait a long time to be served. I class it now as a place to go for a coffee and cake where before it was a place to go for lunch. If you go for the first time you will be happy, it is still good, just not as good as it used to be

Well, we've had a makeover and what a difference was that t was finished just before the Great Yorkshire Show The decor has been upgraded the interior has been altered to make the whole shopping experience brilliant
The restaurant has had a layout change to steam line the visit.
The food choice has slimmed down more local interest with food miles being cut down. Choices galore catering for most tastes Must admit the store feels bigger the way it's laid out
Very worth a visit for a snack or a nice meal
Don't forget the Airstream caravan for a snack on the go in the carpark also part of Fodder. Hope to see you there soon. We'll Worth it

Following the re-opening of the newly refurbished food hall and kitchen cafe earlier in the week, we called in for Sunday lunch. As to be expected, the Kitchen cafe was extremely busy and we were informed prior to being seated of delays, which wasn't a problem as food is freshly cooked to order and, given past experience, well worth the wait. We had a delicious and very satisfying lunch - one traditional Sunday lunch + one scampi. The quality of produce is first class, all prepared and presented beautifully and the staff/service is excellent.
The new breakfast/brunch/lunch menu offers a good range of hot/cold options and is well worth a visit to both eat and shop.

Had an alfresco brunch for the second week running at Fodder today - highly recommended experience! The food was excellent, the venue very clean and attractive and the service first class and very friendly. And the Food Hall looks tremendous - will treat ourselves to some takeaway produce next time too!

Had coffee & cakes, good coffee and ok cakes. Got meat from butcher and no problem but fresh veg very poor, struggled to pick two onions as pretty well all soft. Also bought garlic bulb at inflated price of £1.75,. Again struggled to find one which was not completely soft. On getting it home only managed to get a couple of cloves worth out of it. Hence 2 star rating.

Great Sunday Lunch! When we arrived there was quite a queue and we were told that once food was ordered it could take 30 mins before being served. Things moved reasonably quick and staff were quick cleaning and refreshing tables and getting people seated. Our food arrived within 20 minutes and was excellent in taste, presentation and quantity. Roast chicken, four types of vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. At £16 the meal was excellent Vfm. The new environment works well, staff are great and Fodder continues to be one of my favourite day time places to eat and shop for local produce in Harrogate.

Just returned from our first visit since the refurb for our Sunday dinner & it was lovely jubbly 👌 Chuffed to bits that chicken was available as meat of the day too finally 🙌 it was their first weekend since opening so obviously very busy which was to be expected so they had twice the amount of pressure. The staff were all smiles & kept us informed that there would be a wait which we were fine with. Refurb looks great nice & modern but the exit door should be entrance & exit to take some pressure off the entrance door where everyone is queuing. Excellent Sunday dinner as always. Well done to Linda & the rest of the team we will be back! 👏
