Fortis windows replaced all the windows, and exterior doors to our cottage. I chose them because they are local, the price was competitive, and importantly, had excellent reviews.
I was not disappointed with the results.
They conducted the job in a professional manner, always keep us informed of when they were coming, and the fitment date.
The lads kept on top of the dust and debris, and cleaned up before they left.
After fitting the lads showed us how to operate the windows and doors, which was nice.
I'm very happy with the results, and can't thank the fitters Danny and Steve, John who managed the job, and Pam in the office who kept us informed of installation dates.

Absolutely Brilliant work done by Fortis windows to install a new front door and a double glazed window to my house in Ramsbottom. Dave and Charlie did a first class job (maybe it was the chocolate biscuits that kept them going!).

Seriously though I could not be any more pleased.
I had a very old front door and I know it wasn't a straight forward job to replace but the work carried out is outstanding. I decided to opt for the "Rock door" which is a bit more expensive than the average but the build quality is superb and looks fantastic ( see photo)

Excellent communication from start to finish from 1st contact to finishing the job. And a very competitive price. I would completely 100% recommend this company.

Fortis recently helped me get a new front window arranged when our window frame was damaged from attempted burglary. I decided to upgrade our front door at the same time to make the house more secure and draft proof. They were kind and patient with me when I needed to re arrange the fitting appointment twice due to bereavement and the poor weather. The guys who came were polite, professional, efficient and did a great job fitting the new window and door. They also cleaned up properly after themselves. The new front door and laminated windows look very smart and are high quality, secure and fitted perfectly. The front door feels very solid, high quality and draftproof. I feel this is a very worthwhile upgrade and has increased the safety and security of the house. I am very pleased with the Fortis products and service. Thank you very much.

We had a few uncommon specifications, like acoustic glass and trickle vents, and John listened carefully and helped us with thoughtful suggestions. The quote was competitive, quick and comprehensive. Making final-details arrangements and booking was smooth.

The installation teams were always timely, tidy, and very friendly; they did a great job - the window units themselves are tidy and well fitted; they insulated the bottom of a bay window and it's a really good job, it's a big piece of insulation, but cut and fitted in such a way that you can't see it unless you're looking for it. They supply tracking when they're on their way to you, which was a nice touch.

We had two snagging issues relating to manufacturing rather than fitting, but the real test of customer service is what happens when things go wrong, and Fortis were excellent. There was a manufacturing defect and separately a slight cosmetic blemish. The manufacturing defect was remediated as fast as a new one could be manufactured, and the minor blemish - within discretionary general guidelines perhaps another fitter would have availed-upon - they also resolved very speedily, on the premise they wouldn't be happy with it in their own home either. Good people.

Finally, a few weeks after the installation we had some follow-up questions that weren't issues or snags as such, but an inquiry about a part of the window mechanism, which they again promptly and helpfully answered.

Great customer service. From start to finish all the team were professional, from the initial consultation with John to the work being completed by the guys. Any issues were dealt with straightaway and communication was second to none. My house looks fab with new windows, French doors, fascia's, soffits and gutters. I love it!
