We chose G Phillips to install our solar panels because they are a well established local firm with a fantastic track record, they use high quality panels and batteries and they also offer installation and product warranties so that if there are any issues we would be covered.

My elderly mother has used G. Philips Heating & Solar Services in Ashington for 15 to 20 years to provide all her plumbing and heating needs.
G. Philips have always provided an exceptional service and given that my (now) 101 year old mother has dementia, and is therefore extremely vulnerable, it was so important for us to know that the heating engineer would be kind and considerate. Every engineer, without exception, has always been totally respectful and when carrying out works at mum's house they have called me to update me what needed to be done and why.
My mum had a new boiler fitted by G. Philips in 2020 and they did an amazing job providing a 10 year guarantee and also being prepared to come back out and change the digital thermostat they installed as my mum couldn't understand it. They did this with good grace and no charge!
The staff in the office have been superb too and have always been happy to get someone out to my mums property if there was an issue with the boiler or the heating. As I live 300 miles away they have been happy to send invoices to me, rather than my mum, and accept payments over the phone.
I cannot recommend G. Philips highly enough and I would like to thank them for years of top class service. 5*+ for service and quality of workmanship.

Brilliant service from Jack , quick reliable service. very professional friendly and polite, fixed our boiler without any mess or fuss. Highly recommend G Phillips will definitely be using them again, have already booked in our yearly service with them.

We always have G Philips service our boiler and we had to replace our current one, they have been brilliant from the beginning to finish and even afterwards as we are selling our house and normally have to wait for the warranty and gas safe certificate posted to us but it can take weeks and we need it urgently due to the sales. They have been very helpful and sorted all the documents for us. Couldn’t recommend them enough. We will continue book them to service our boiler in the new house after we move

Our boiler developed a leak which required me to have a large container placed beneath it.After being let down by a local plumber over the course of 10 days with various excuses we contacted Phillips who came out the following day to assess the fault.Jack Phillips determined the fault and returned shortly after to replace the faulty component. What a relief.Quick, efficient, professional and dependable. Exactly what you want when you have a boiler breakdown.Well done.

Excellent service from this company when they removed a back boiler and replaced with a combi in one day.From laying dust sheets as they entered the house to vacuuming up as they worked, very clean and professional throughout.
