Putting a 1 star as I saw one of the company vans with a reg plate ending in ZSU tossing a copious amount rubbish out of the window at J3 of the m6 on 16/11/24 circa 2pm.

Richard Blunt and Gemco in general have been a pleasure to deal with from making initial contact with them to arrange the install of a Class 4&7 ATL MOT lane for my garage. They pushed forward with drawings to suit our needs at the council planning stage to allow us get moving and continually gave advice and support to allow us to get the go ahead from the DVSA and organise the equipment.

The engineers that carried out the install were very professional and efficient, take a look at the picture! I will certainly be using Gemco again for an future expansion.

They are so frustrating to deal with. Customer service is 0, booking jobs in 0, maintenance work 0, anything to do with the office is 0. The lads who come out can't be any better. I don't understand why they work for a company like this.
We used GEMCO on the basis that they supply the best equipment and best service packages. How wrong we were, installers of the brand new lift fitted it wrong so one of the wire cables was rubbing underneath which took about a year and a half until someone noticed it. (Just aswell we didn't have an accident)
Constantly getting engineers out because of faulty equipment, computers. To which they put it on their system, then head office will order some parts in, turn up whenever they want, even during a test and even then they'll just partially fix the problem until the next time they need to come back.
Poor planning, poor service, not enough staff. The list is endless. We once waited for an engineer to come out to calibrate some equipment, 3 weeks later they turned up. 3 weeks we were out of calibration. Just mental behaviour, especially since you pay for the service package.

They all of a sudden now think they can solve my issue with the equipment but it'll cost you 4k, handy that it's just ran out of warranty. But as a gesture of good will we'll offer 15% off. Thanks for that.

There's much better companies out there who actually value your business, please avoid.

Organised an appointment for Monday and nobody turned up it is not 4pm Wednesday and they have told me Saturday so I have had to cancel the job as I cannot trust them to turn up. To top it all off they have taken over £400 from me for the job without a call to say they could not attend. Stay away!

One of the poorest aftersales experiences I've encountered. Don't tunr up when they're scheduled to, dont communicate and then reschedule your work - all without telling you.
To cap it all - my request to speak to a manager was that he was busy but he would call back later - that was over a day ago !

Very pleased with the service we have received from Gemco.

Justin has been so helpful with the whole process of installing an MOT Bay, from the initial application with DVSA to completion & sign off. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him and he always responded to our queries very quickly.

Everyone I have dealt with at Gemco has gone above and beyond, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble.

Please don't hesitate to give them a go, it's certainly the best decision we could have made!

We are an independent garage in Cardiff. We have just upgraded our two man testing station to a new ATL. Gemco have supplied and installed our new equipment. I have no hesitation in recommending Gemco for providing this service. They have provided support and information right through from the initial survey and quote , assisted in the online application to the DVSA, through to the on site installation where the engineers were efficient and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and small issues were solved very quickly. I have found the office staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. A big thank you goes to Justin who initiated the sale and to Pete, the installation engineer, who was a pleasure to have on site. We are delighted with the quality of the equipment.
