Absolutely Fantastic Experience – Highly Recommend!

I had an amazing time on the Powerboat Level 2 course with Noel! We were lucky to have stunning weather throughout – a real heatwave – which made the experience even more enjoyable. The boat we used was incredible: fast, reliable, and well-maintained.

The course itself was very well organised, and Noel struck the perfect balance between being informative and making it genuinely fun. Even the theory side of things, which I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy, was engaging and easy to follow.

By the end of the course, I felt incredibly confident and fully prepared for my first solo adventure out at sea. Massive thanks to Noel for such a great couple of days – I couldn’t recommend this course more!

My 16-year old son and I did the PB2 course last week with instructor Mark. Great fun, very informative and extremely useful. Mark had a good training style, conveyed the information well, backed it all up with practice and had lots of patience. If you’re thinking of buying a boat or indeed have one, book this course with these people; you won’t regret it.

I recently completed the 2-day Powerboat Level 2 training, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and approachable. They made the course both informative and enjoyable, striking the perfect balance between theory and hands-on practice.

Over the two days, we covered everything from basic navigation and safety procedures to close-quarters handling and high-speed maneuvering. I particularly appreciated the emphasis on real-world scenarios, which gave me a lot more confidence at the helm.

The boat was well-maintained and equipped with everything we needed, and the training waters offered a great mix of conditions for learning. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to build on your experience, I highly recommend this course. It’s a great way to gain essential skills and certification while having a genuinely fun and engaging time on the water!

I was told I had to do a course before I could launch my jet ski and boy am I glad I did. There was so much I didn’t know and I’m so grateful I do now! A lot more to it than most people think and Noel makes it super easy to digest all the info as well. Great day out and a must for anyone who has a jet ski!!!

I have just completed this two day course and I cannot recommend it enough. Before this weekend I was a total novice with around an hour of driving experience (in a straight line!) and a basic theoretical knowledge from reading the RYAs day skipper handbook. Noel was an excellent teacher. He was extremely intuitive and could tell when i was not confident and encouraged me through the manoeuvres until I did feel confident. I have learnt so much and enjoyed myself immensely doing it. If you have to go to school at the weekend, this is the school to go to and I'd be quite happy to pay for the course many times over just to spend a few days on a lovely boat with an excellent teacher. So, being a sea cadet 38 years ago for a whole 2 years ow aged 50, i thought i best have a refresher before buying a boit and hitting the water.

I signed up for the RYA powerboat level 2 course with Noel at getlostpowerboat training.

What a fantastic couple of days! Small class size (total 3 students(ever only)) so everyone hears sees tries. Many times!!.

From "man overboard " mooring and buoy pick up, hints, tips and knowing your buoys. Informative base navigation , even how to anchor and pick up.

You'd pay more than the price for being at see for many hours each day let alone the training and guidance from Noel who clearly knows his santa from his penguins.

Will be doing the VHF course in a couple of weeks too..

Kids don't know it yet but we've got their Christmas's presents sorted out (they have to buy their own boats after though!).

Can't recommend the team highly enough..
