Liked: Tucked away down a small country lane leading to a gorgeous beach and clifftop walks. Only 10min walk to St David which had lots of pubs shops and places to eat.
Gorgeous costal views over the hedge from the pitches.
Small site with amenities quite central to most pitches. Level pitches. Showers were nice and hot.
Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere on site. Small food kiosk for burgers and wraps at entrance to site with nice tables outside.

Disliked: The only slight negative is the shower rooms are quite dated and could do with a spruce up ( maybe some epoxy floor resin to aid hygienic quick cleaning and a rubber squeegee mop left outside the shower area for users to make use of..for a quick cost effective fix?)

We'd stayed on site before when we had a touring caravan. We were happy to come back and stay in the smugglers den and were not disappointed. Clean, comfortable and some really nice welcome gifts. Love it , ideal spot between beach and town. Definitely will be back.

Location. Location. Location! This campsite depends entirely on this because it is certainly not the facilities that are the selling point. We have just spent 2 nights there, didn't see hide nor hair of the owners. Even tho my husband went up to the house to pay. .It is very overpriced for the standard on offer. Money for old rope. £56.00 or 2 adults, NO electric hookup!! The fridge/freezer in the washing up room was smeared with large streaks of mud, there when we arrived, there when we left. Ladies and gents toilets were revolting, specks of faeces on the toilet rims. The showers were very hot but the cubicles had cracked, damaged filthy "white" tiles which were yellow with scum build up around the tiles where you stand to wash. We've been motorhoming for 10 years plus and have stayed in quirky, rustic of tired sites but none this dirty. Get your act together and give value for money.

A great location with a friendly owner. Plenty of space on the pitch and the toilet and wash up facilities are fine for the size of the site. Close walk in to the centre of St David's and a beach and Pembrokeshire coastal path on your doorstep. If we choose to camp in Pembrokeshire again I'd not give a second thought and book here again!

Loved this campsite. Spacious corner pitch with EHU. 10mins flat walk in to St David’s. 15mins to the stunning Cae’r Fae Beach. Beautiful views. Very peaceful. Toilets clean. Didn’t use showers.

Liked: Location is perfect with short walk into St David’s and also Caerfai beach. Slightly longer but pleasant walk to Whitesands Bay. Pitch level and well spaced. Toilet/shower/washing up facilities very clean.

Disliked: The only complaint is that the WiFi is poor but this is minor issue
