Be aware – cPanel not included . Domain “taken Be aware – cPanel not included .
I created an account and set up my domain with GoDaddy, thinking I had everything I needed with the Startup plan. However, after paying, I realized I didn't have access to cPanel — something I assumed would be standard.
When I contacted support to ask about it, I was told I'd have to pay an additional £224.35 just to get cPanel access!
This wasn’t clear during the purchase process. So be careful — unless you pay extra, you won’t get full control or cPanel access. I’m very disappointed with how this was handled. Even worse, after I deleted my website and account, I found out that I could no longer use my domain name. Despite being the original owner, the domain was locked and marked as “taken,” making it impossible to reuse on another hosting platform.

What ever you do stay away from GoDaddy. Trying to gain access to my account to renew my domain has been at nightmare I submit all original documents they keep rejected it with no explanation it is none of your business how I have created my business go daddy. You cannot be rejecting a tax return from the HMRC doc without a reason. Neither can you be rejecting a company house company registration certificate because it's nothing not in colored. And let's not talk about the indirect and direct discrimination I have received from this company called GoDaddy.

Poor website functionality, unresolved issues and slow customer support
The website functionality was extremely limited and would not cater for selling certain products or services. When help was requested, I had to spend hours on end speaking with the customer service team. I wasted an entire day speaking with them trying to get to the bottom of an issue with setting up my services. For some reason, I could not book a date for my service. After spending hours looking at it, they managed to figure that the calendar was blocked but they could not resolve the situation and unblock it. It was at this point I requested a full refund. They refused because the request fell outside of the "refund window". If you are going to use GoDaddy for your website, I strongly advise against it. It has caused more hassle than good and unfortunately it has been a waste of money.

WARNING!!! Watch yourselves...selected a desireable .co.uk address (I was surprised it was available)...added it to my cart with the advertised first year cost of £3.99. Went to pay BUT IT HAD DISAPPEARED! Re-entered it and was advised I could get broker help for £94.99 to try to acquire it!

Simply awful! Take your money and run!! No genuine help or support, just relentless emails about things expiring and having to give godaddy more and more money. Utterly atrocious - avoid and use WordPress or another web provider. Godaddy you are a disgrace

Do not buy your domain through GoDaddy. I know they sold my data as I started receiving spam emails before my website was live, and before the details were shared with anyone but GoDaddy. A shady, lying, illegal business that should be avoided at all costs.

Absolutely disgusted... Went on Live Chat to query why i wasn't getting emails when orders were coming in... After 3 hours on the live chat I gave up... Staff haven't got a clue & basicvally left me on hold most of the time... Still haven't got an answer as to why i wasn't receiving orders..... Thats 3 hours of my life i've lost....
