I'd been putting off replacing my 2014 MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina battery for a while, but I'm so glad I finally chose Goldmine Computer Repairs.

From the moment I first spoke with Richie on the phone, the experience was incredibly professional and helpful right from the start, even sending me information on exactly what battery to purchase. As soon as my new battery arrived the next day, I gave it to him by 5:45 PM. I was genuinely impressed by the speedy turnaround – by 10:09 PM, the battery was replaced!

What truly sets Goldmine Computer Repairs apart is Richie's dedication to his work and his customers. He sent me photos to show the progress of the job, which was a thoughtful touch and really communicated the care he takes with your device. Looking at those photos, the level of workmanship was clearly top-quality, and I couldn't help but be impressed. My MacBook hadn't been cleaned since I bought it in 2014, and Richie even gave it a thorough cleaning, making it feel brand new.

I wholeheartedly recommend Richie. He's professional, genuinely cares about people's valuable tech, always strives for the best, and his workmanship is simply superb. I will definitely be returning to him to upgrade my storage in the future!

Wouldn’t recommend anyone else this man is experienced and knows he’s stuff if your looking for a local pc specialist or even willing to travel he is your man. He kept me updated with pics and messages throughout the whole process and is very fast with replies even if you need advice very friendly and easy to talk too, not only did he help build my new rig he also helped me with finding the right parts and making sure I was good to go, he’s prices are very reasonable and I really wouldn’t recommend anyone else thank you again mate 10/10 service

Amazing Richie answered at 7.00 this morning..& I was able to meet up straightaway - most repairers locally open at midday! Excellent service - computer wouldn't fire up black screen ..was going to pick up about midday but I was done within an hour & a half & cleaned! Absolutely would recommend.

Absolutely excellent service! I spoke with Richie on Friday late afternoon because my laptop was overheating and making a whirring sound. He sorted out what was not working, ordered fans for my machine. I took it around noon today and by 5pm, it was all fixed! Richie also cleaned dust from inside and he constantly stayed in touch step-by-step. Brilliant job, highly recommended

July 11, 2025 update : I contacted Richie when one of the fans he had installed was not working optimally. He immediately ordered a replacement and within less than 24 hours, he installed the replacement as well as providing a free upgrade to my laptop. Totally excellent and efficient service! Five-star-plus!

My laptop was overheating and needed opening up to clean and have the thermal paste refreshed. I contacted by phone and I was grateful that he was able to see me at short notice.
