We really wanted this to work, but we were left disappointed and out of pocked.
Like the other reviews, we were promised big savings and a warm home. We were also told we would receive our deposit back if it was unsuitable. We had the independent and Greener Energy surveys done. Although we never received any written reports, they both suggested the system was unsuitable for our home.
After the grant we would have paid £12500 for this system. Thats a lot of money for something that was unlikely to to serve its purpose and cost more to run than we spend at the moment. We contacted them to get our deposit refunded; unfortunately, they would only give us 50% back.
If we received the correct advice in the first place we would have never gone ahead, we feel cheated.
The people in the office were very nice and helpful; however, we are disappointed they chose to keep half our deposit after giving bad advice. Still, £250 out of pocket is better than £12500, we dodged a bullet there!

I cannot praise this company highly enough. From the first visit through to final install the entire process was easy, fully explained and straightforward. People I spoke to on the phone actually managed to sound as if my experience mattered to them, staff who came out to do the necessary surveys turned u bang on time and answered all my questions without jargon orr making me feel like a fool. The installation was seamless. Well it wasn't totally straightforward but the team worked so efficiently that you'd never have known and they were easy to have around the house and left it tidier than it had been to start with.
I'd like particularly to mention Leon and James who did the electrics, stayed late to get it down, explained everything fully and were great to chat with while also getting their work done.
I don't usually gush but they were great and as a woman living alone I don't always feel that way. I cannot recommend the company and it's staff highly enough

Friendly enough but sales guy didn’t have a clue. We quoted £17k+ for a grant 12kw heat pump guy didn’t take any measurements for a heat loss survey just said yeah that’ll fit there and that will fit there. We live in a 3 bed mid terrace with insulation and double glazing so 12kw of heat loss is crazy. Had another company come in and laugh at the previous quote we are now getting a 7kw valiant unit for £14500

In addition we were getting sold on the heatpump with promises of massive savings the other company were very honest and told us we will likely save money but very little

We first contacted the Greener Energy team when we were looking to change our old heating system. After a quick chat, we were booked in for a visit. The sales rep Munro was super clear and extremely helpful with explaining funding and the overall process of installation. He explained how the system worked and gave us a high level explanation of how the system would be installed and associated timescales.
The follow up calls with the office were always super quick and clear, they even helped us with the funding forms and helped us out with a dispute with HES (which was resolved). Every time I had to call back, I was always met with good knowledge and all call backs to myself were met.
The installation team were brilliant. Firstly Matt did an excellent job of our tech survey and advised of everything that was being installed and where. Even after a misunderstanding regarding one of the radiator sizes (which was my fault), he organised to have a replacement put in the following week, which was done at no added cost.
Andy, Ryan and Bruce the plumbers were all good humour and very respectful of our property. The electricians Steven, Leon and Justin were great craic and treated us like old friends as opposed to customers, which we really appreciated. Steven took the time to explain everything that was happening and made sure to let us know about all the installation details. He went through the setup clearly and showed us what we needed to do with the new system.
Finally, the follow up from the office and accounts team was always polite and clear about what was happening next and how to finalise payments. There was no confusion there.
Overall, we are extremely happy with the experience with Greener Energy, and very happy that we'll have a nice warm house this winter!

Had a great experience with this company. From the office to the electricians every one was very friendly and helpful. They installed solar panels, new Wibo heaters and boiler without any problems and very quick. Would recommend.

From the start of this process I have felt very supported and well informed at each stage. We have just had the installation last week and the team were very professional, supportive of questions and hardworking.

We still have final documentation to complete but I am extremely impressed with the service delivered by the company. I will definitely consider looking into solar panels when I am in a position to do this in the future.

I would highly recommend Greener Energy Group. The initial meeting with Munro Grierson, renewable energy consultant was very informative and an asset to the company. All the office staff have been extremely helpful throughout and all queries handled with expertise and great communication skills. The installation team were superb. All friendly, professional and tidy. Well done Ryan, Bruce, Andy, Jack, Cammy, Andy, Stephen, Drew, Sandy and Charlie. Now that I have a Grant Aerona ASHP and 12 PV panels I hope to have a far more efficient heating system. Thank you.

Excellent service from start to finish with Greener Energy for my solar panels and storage batteries, I could not be happier with my installation and I felt like I was dealing with experts from start to finish. Stephen the Sales rep was outstanding, could not recommend him higher, Tony from installations kept me updated regularly throughout my installation, the electrician did a fantastic clean and tiny installation, he was amazing, and the roofer boys did a great job installing the panels on my roof and the came back the following week to fix a broken title and to bird proof my solar panels. My panels are generating up to 4.5kw per hours and I am so glad that Greener Energy use top quality battery provider (PureDrive) rather than cheaper batteries used by other installers (Smile). Very happy with using Greener Energy than any other installer, highly recommended thank you so much, from a very happy customer!!!
