We wanted to use a local, independent company to supply and install our 8 kilowatt Chesney double sided wood burner. We were delighted to find Greenstove Solutions and can't recommend them highly enough. Tom quoted for us and assisted in the planning and organization of our specific ideals for our first wood burner purchase. He was always prompt with contact, knowledgeable, with a professional yet friendly and approachable manner.
Ben and Liam, who then took over our fireplace prep and installation were just wonderful. We couldn't have had a lovelier experience of skilled tradesmen in our home. They were punctual, worked tirelessly, effortlessly problem solving along the way and had a warm and friendly manner, even when our 2 curious toddler grandsons kept peeping their heads in to see what was going on!
This company was a diamond local find and we couldn't be happier with their service, professionalism, knowledge, ability and pricing. Without any a question of doubt we give them a full 5 star review.

We have just had our lovely new wood burner installed today by the great team from Greenstove Solutions. What a terrific job Ben and Liam did! Polite and very professional, they walked us through every stage of the install process making sure we fully understood what was happening. On finishing they gave us a complete and thorough brief on 'best practice' when using the stove and made sure all are queries were answered. Thank you Ben and Liam it was a pleasure to have you working in our home! We would also like to say a big thank you to Mel in the Canterbury showroom for all her help and advice and for all her backroom work getting this project to completion. Unfortunately our experience of Greenstove was pretty poor from start to finish; you have to be the most patient and persistent of customers...
After promptly paying our deposit in the July '21, we found ourselves chasing any news of our stove through September and October...hearing no response. When I finally got through to the owner, he was quite rude in telling me I should have called the office (?) which I had. Long story short, we didn't end up having the stove installed until the following Feb due to a fault with the stove. By which time they had had our hefty deposit for nearly 8 months. During fitting, the tiling was not centralised and had to be removed and refitted, and our custom hearth was miss-measured...we had asked it to cover the existing hearth - which it doesn't - so we are left with a very strange 'look'.

A week after completion (or to their mind) of the stove fitted, we started to receive sarcastic texts chasing for the payment. When I explained I wasn't happy about the cost of the tiling on the invoice (not pre agreed) - £800 to get the surround tiles laid onto the surround panels (and on top of the fitting costs), I was told the price was the price and I started to receive threats about re-entering my home to remove the stove.
The grouting of the tiles was never completed. All in all, a pretty miserable experience.
