Missing parts, no support. I bought a £400 tap at the beginning of a refurb. When fitting it 30 days later I noticed it had been packaged with parts missing. I contacted customer service UK and they said nothing could be done. Leaving me to now throw away £400 + whatever it costs for a new tap from a different manufacturer.

Update ; since my review I have been contacted by Chris R at customer service, who at what sounded like considerable effort - managed to locate the the missing part and send it me directly. Tap now looks great and works well.

I recently purchased a replacement spare part for my Grohe tap due to a fault with the original part after a month of purchase. I raised it with Grohe, After 2 weeks, Grohe decided that an engineer should visit us to diagnose the issue and informed us that the spare replacement part was out of stock? Needed to wait another 2 weeks before the engineer arrival and 2-3weeks for the part....I couldn't afford to wait for an engineer to confirm the fault on-site and then let me know I need to wait another 3 weeks for the spare part, as it was clear the issue was with the seal not locking properly, causing the diverter to malfunction.
The Grohe s replacement part I acquired(at my Cost) includes the necessary lock mechanism on the seal—something that was missing in the original part I received from Grohe. This raises the question: why the original part, without this essential component, provided in the first place, and why couldn't Grohe resolve this remotely after showing photos and videos?

Requiring an on-site engineer to diagnose a problem that could easily be assessed remotely seems not only inefficient but also ecologically unfriendly, costly, and leaves customers, like myself, in a frustrating waiting period and without a bath for weeks.

Additionally, I was informed the spare part was out of stock, yet I managed to purchase it myself and delivered within 48hrs. How is this possible?
It feels unfair as a customer, having invested significantly in Grohe products, to experience prolonged downtime and insufficient support, resulting in my bathroom being out of use for weeks.

BE AWARE: Terrible customer service. Despite thinking you’re buying a premium product with a multi-year warranty, you receive absolutely no support, even a month after purchase. I’ll steer clear of Grohe in the future – it’s just not worth it!

LOVE my Grohe red system.

I previously had a cheaper brand of kettle tap which stopped working within a year.

Having seen Grohe red and blue in a local showroom i knew this was the system for me. It arrived quickly, my plumber installed it for me however the instructions were very clear and i feel anyone with a little plumbing knowledge would be able to install it. There are also you tube installation videos available.

The tap comes with a child lock system which is great for those with young children. It is very easy to use.

My previous make of kettle tap had a strange taste when making hot drinks but the Grohe is just like freshly boiled water.

The taps themselves are very well made and look fantastic in my kitchen.

I would highly recommend a Grohe red tap to anyone looking at installing a kettle tap system in their homes.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I bought a Kitchen tap for £167 in Feb 2021 with a 5 year guarantee. 11 months later it started leaking from the tails (a known issue) I have lost the receipt but offered to return it thinking that they would know when it was manufactured if they had the tap. Long story short, zero interest, zero help, couldn't care less. If you want a premium product, please avoid this company they are toxic. Don't believe me? Look on Trustpilot

This has to be the best customer service I've ever experienced in the UK (though naturally wondering if it might have something to do with Grohe being a German company!) I put in a phone call for a warranty claim, received immediate, exceedingly friendly and attentive help with the promise that once the part arrived from Germany someone would actually come and fit it for me "in about two weeks." The next day I received a phone call to say that the part was in stock after all and an engineer would visit in two days. So from initial phone call to replacement and installation has taken just four days. I loved Grohe products before this anyway but now they have this customer for life. Top class and highly recommended..

I purchased a Grohe kitchen mixer tap from Screwfix at £139 Feb 25 and remember reading in reviews of product about customers trying to register warranty.It states on box 5 year warranty offered.I had no success either online registering & gave up.All reviews I've read since about Grohe mention poor customer service unhelpful.I have not contacted Grohe as yet but not impressed by company after reading other people's reviews.It is true about registering warranty it is impossible just go round in circles.

Do not buy from Grohe UK. We are now waiting for almost six month(!!) on a product we paid for. We have had endless engagements (unfortunately each time initiated by us as Grohe staff doesn’t care/takes no ownership). How can you take money and then never deliver the product?!?

As has been written by others customer service is abysmal.

They will not honour the warranty even though the tap is faulty, saying that it is not approved for use in the UK. But it was manufactured by Grohe, bought through Amazon UK, delivered to & installed at an address in England.

Very reluctantly, and after great delays they provided a spare part, which did not solve the problem. My plumbers & I have wasted hours trying to get this rectified, to no avail. I would strongly advise not buying products from Grohe.
