Great service. Dan and Hannah both helped me design a mounting system for my DIY solar system. I completed my transaction online with a bank transfer. I can’t paise or thank Dan and Hannah enough for their excellent advice, great customer service and good quality products that they have provided me. I am not an easy customer to deal with, new to DIY Solar and learning more and more as I worked with Dan (credit to him for his patience). I had PV and batteries installed by a different company, and was left without a fully functioning system as they didn't have one small but vital component in stock, with no idea when it would be. That was two weeks ago.
I contacted HDM Solar on the off-chance they might be able to help, and they literally went the extra mile to juggle their stock to provide me with what I needed, and it arrived the next day!
If they do that for people who aren't even their mainstream customers, then it strikes me they really pride themselves on customer satisfaction.

Spoke to staff and told them I was looking for a specific battery version 1. Was told they had 48 on the shelf and then a week later 35 on the shelf. So ordered two and parted with £2300. Delivery date came and went. Gave them 10 days grace, no contact from them or delivery of the item. Emailed and they said oh yes you wanted the version 2, sent them the emails showing them I had asked for version 1. They went quiet. Staff had to be chased via email and phone with them "forgetting to ring back because we are so busy". They lied about actually having stock. The last email from them said "Apologies again for the mess around, it's not how we like to treat our customers and we have let ourselves down on this occasion.". No you have let ME down on this occasion, I am now entering winter without my extra batteries which will cost ME money. So advice to anyone thinking of using this company....... don't if you want your item and don't want to waste your time chasing! Avoid.

Ordered 14 tigo optimisers from a different company.. 5 month wait. I ordered the tigo cloud kit from HDM solar with a 2 week wait.
I enquired regarding stock of tigo optimisers and HDM solar had stock arriving in 4 days.
So i purchased from HDM and requested a refund from the other company.

Very pleased with the service I received.

My delivery was a disaster! After 3 weeks part of order has been sent, 6 rails instead of 8. After 1 more week the other part! 2x rails still missing and pv cable 4mm instead
6mm. They charged me for 48h delivery. All this supposed to be 1 delivery. I bought from ebay, same shop, 4 rails and 2 rails splice to make same length what was missing from previous order. Guess what? No rails came only rails splice! Today after 2 months nearly I asked for refund and they refunded straight away. I still have 2 solar panel not fitted. Never again!
