HDS are so professional, flexible and knowledgeable. We used them for our entire house rewiring during a major rebuild and they were the best tradesmen to deal with throughout 10 months of work. For smaller jobs they have always been happy to help with good advice. They seem to really think about what the best solutions are more than most tradespeople: they also respect our opinions! They were called HDS Electrical at that time. If I could fit solar too I wouldn't call anyone else as I trust them so much.

Good communication, and telephoned to say that they could come earlier than planned. The work turned out to be a little more complicated than originally thought, but this was easily overcome. Howard worked efficiently and was pleasant, professional and tidy.
The cost of the job was very reasonable. We were so pleased with the quality and standard of the work that we have booked him again for additional work scheduled in a few weeks time.

The HDS team are awesome. They didn't sell me a Solar system like so many other installers, they took the time to understand my needs, and challenges and designed a system that serves me now but is also future proofed. I now have a (small) solar array and a high capacity battery system that can run my heating, my whole house and charge my car in emergencies.
As with many major installs, we hit a couple of stumbling blocks - these never felt like a problem, the team always had a way forward and presented reasonable options to resolve any issues.
Since my install, the team has stayed in touch and has always been quick to respond to any queries I have or when I have managed to confused with my new kit.
Trouble with being them being this good is I am now trying to think of what other jobs I want them to do!

Very helpful and professional, with prices in-line with other quotes. We spent a long time discussing the correct system to install and why (eg batteries that discharge at 30A rather than earlier generation/ cheaper ones that discharge at 11A). Been very helpful, with very quick responses, since the install - sorting out questions and programming forced discharge periods etc.

I've just moved into a new house and I was having issues with my oven tripping the fuse. I'd replaced the old oven with a newer one and assumed that the fuses needed replacing. I also wanted the wiring analysed in the house before I redecorated so decided to look for an electrician and chose HDS based on good reviews.

Howard arrived early to the appointment and was really friendly and helpful. He gave honest advice about the oven and his insights actually got it working without any professional assistance needed. He also gave good advice on the house and what he'd look for when rewiring it and I'm definitely having him back in the new year to progress this job. Overall a really positive experience with him and I would recommend him to others!
