I contacted Andy at Heat Charge Evolution to get a quote for changing our gas fired system to an air source heat pump. I was a little apprehensive about moving to this type of system and finding the right company to do the job. From our initial meeting and the survey through to the completion of the job this company gave me complete confidence.

The system design felt very thorough and easy to understand. The installation engineers were all excellent and their work is some of the best that I have seen. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andrew, Dave and the team did a fantastic job installing a heat pump at my house. Completed the whole job start to finish in three days and left the property tidy. We had a couple of teething issues with the system after install but these were to be expected and all resolved very quickly with no fuss. Looking forward to having a steady temperature in the house rather than the peaky temperature control from the gas boiler that was far too large for our small mid terrace. Already benefiting from much cheaper hot water using off peak electricity though

We have just used heat charge evolution to install an air source heat pump at our property. The day after I contacted them they arrived to give me a quote. The survey was done there and then . They were very thorough and measured every room and every radiator. I was very confident that they knew what they were talking about after a previous company we dealt with left me with doubts.
A detailed quote came back within a couple of days which I was very pleased with. The install took place within the next two weeks with all the radiators in the house being replaced, a new hot water tank and a heat pump. The old hot water system was removed.
The team were all polite and professional and cleaned up after themselves every step of the way . I would not hesitate to recommend this company and I am already seeing a big difference in the cost of my hot water. The heat pump runs very quietly despite rumours saying different . It is a lot quieter than the gas boiler was. Once completed I was shown how to use all the controls and left in no doubt that any problems would be dealt with.
This company was knowledgeable and professional and Am 100% satisfied with the install .
I was very nervous about having a heat pump but all my worries have now gone and I look forward to my savings and having a warm and comfortable house.

Andrew and his team did a great job installing our ASHP at a competitive rate. Heat Charge Evolution also put in some extra heating infrastructure and made some minor tweaks free of cost where other suppliers might charge extra. Excellent service and particularly recommended if you live in Shrewsbury, as they have been very generous with coming out to the house in my experience.

For those in doubt, the quote is the quote - no nasty surprises.

This will be our go-to supplier when we consider solar panels / a battery in the future!

Its full marks from me for the Heat Pump installation. I cannot comment on the quality of the heating system until I go through a winter period so I will stick to the facts. They arranged for the EPC Assessor (to check insulation) and the Ofgem BUS discount. Arriving exactly on time each morning the installation team were very good and fully explained the new heating system. With a Heat Pump efficiency of 1 to 4.48 it will considerably reduce the CO2 emissions compared to a gas CH boiler. The overall cost, considering the massive upgrade in the quality of the radiators, is very competitive with a new gas boiler (thanks to the BUS discount). It was clearly a Five Star job.

Highly Recommended.
First class experience with Heat Charge Evolution – from the first visit from Andy to design the system to the completion of the installation, it was effortless.
The quote was clear and explained everything that was going to be done and the performance that the system was going to deliver.
Our EPC needed updating – this was organised for us, as was the application for the Govt Grant.
Before installation took place we had a meeting to go through everything that was going to be done – so no surprises.
The installation team were great, clean, and caring and did an excellent skilled and professional job – all work completed in 2 days. Any work inside the house was treated with respect and every effort was made to protect our carpets / furniture etc and everything was well cleaned up afterwards.
The system works, it is quiet and delivers heat and hot water just as we want – it’s a significant improvement on our old oil fired boiler and is already saving us money after 3 weeks.

In short, I would highly recommend Heat Charge Evolution if you were considering heat pump work.

I can’t praise the company enough.
From the initial survey to the commissioning of the heat pump everything has been done to the highest standards.
Thanks to Dan and Luke for their installation of the heat pump, new radiators and pipe work which is excellent and Adam the electrician for his work on the outside unit.
And thanks to Andy and Dave for all their help and insight into how the system works and getting it up and running.
