Ordered an item online and they took my money. I never received a confirmation of my order. I emailed them and got no response. I phoned days later and was told that the item was out of stock and that they don't have any idea if or when they will get more stock so they would cancel my order and refund.
If you no longer stock, don't offer on your website! Don't take money an item you know you can't provide. If this does happen accidentally then at least make some attempt to contact your customers and tell them there is an issue and offer a refund. If I hadn't called you I would still be waiting and you would still have my money.
