We could not be more happy with our beautiful new fireplace. Hedge End fireplaces did us a stunning new mantle, hearth and tiling, as well as lining the chimney (kept our original stove), and all the way through they were so attentive and friendly. Absolute 5 star service, so nice to work with such a lovely local business.

I recommend this company.
A very informative chat with the proprietor and no pressure to purchase. Staff very helpful. They have a range of fires on display in both of their showrooms with many gas ones working. We have since made a purchase from this shop.
One of their engineers, Mr Skinner fitted our new gas fire a week ago and my wife and I are very pleased with it. The engineer was very clean and considerate of our property. Just waiting for a chimney cawl that was missing from the job description. A quick email confirmed that the job is in hand and that they haven't forgotten us.

We had a gas fire fitted to my daughter's newly purchased Edwardian terraced house in Salisbury in May this year. The installation, involving fitting a new gas 'wood burning' look stove to an existing fireplace, was done by Hedge End Fireplaces and we were delighted with their work. It wasn't an easy job and involved putting a chimney liner in and extending the gas supply from the back of the house to the sitting room at the front, quite apart from squeezing the fire into an existing Victorian type fireplace surround. All this was done quickly, efficiently and very neatly with great care to conceal the gas supply pipe beneath the floor. We were very pleased and would recommend the friendly, helpful
Hedge End Fireplaces team.

Disappointing customer service. We had purchased a fireplace from Hedge End Fireplaces in 2011 and after 5 years felt it required a service. We visited the showroom, gave our contact details, and waited for them to make contact to arrange a visit. Then … nothing. We called to remind them, they promised to ring back and again … nothing.

Conclusion: Unsatisfactory customer service. I would suggest Hedge End Fireplaces are avoided if you expect any follow up support.
