I’ve used these a few times now with multiple cars, I think it’s time I actually typed a review.

Recently this company has helped fix my old motor when most companies around Northampton refused to due to the age.

Not only have they accepted my car, they carried the works quickly and efficiently, they are up for challenging cars and they are always thinking about the client.

They offer cheaper rates compared to bigger/commercial branded companies and offer a far better service.

I feel compelled to share my experience with this garage, as my recent encounter with them left me feeling extremely concerned and disappointed.

My husband and I have been loyal customers for several months, but after a serious safety issue with our van, I felt it necessary to voice my concerns. A while back, we had new tyres fitted at this garage, and during a recent drive, the wheel came off — which I can only describe as a potentially dangerous situation that could have ended badly.
From my perspective, the garage initially claimed the bolts were the wrong size. However, after taking the van to another workshop for an inspection, I was informed that the bolts were actually the correct ones for our alloy wheels. Upon further inspection, I was told the wheel threads appeared to have been damaged, possibly due to over-tightening. It was concerning to learn that only three bolts were holding the wheel on, which raised significant safety concerns for me.
What was even more frustrating was that, despite the serious nature of this issue, I felt the garage didn't take responsibility. Instead, I felt they were trying to shift blame elsewhere, which left me feeling unsupported.
When I asked about their liability insurance, they didn't provide any information, which further added to my frustration, as I felt there was no clear recourse for any potential damage or safety concerns.
Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to approach this garage with caution. I believe they may not prioritize safety or customer well-being as much as one would expect from a service provider. My intention is not to make sweeping judgments, but rather to share my own experience in case others may have concerns.
I hope the garage takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary changes to avoid similar situations in the future.

Firstly, I felt that the tone of your response came across as somewhat dismissive and intimidating, especially the part where you mentioned that we 'can report wherever we can' and that you 'won’t waste any more time' on the issue. Given the serious nature of the situation, with the wheel detaching from our vehicle while we were driving — something that could have ended in a dangerous accident — I would have hoped for a more empathetic and understanding response. Instead, it felt like the gravity of what happened was downplayed, which only added to my frustration.
I also want to clarify that, based on the information we received from another reputable garage, the bolts were actually correct for our alloy wheels. This was confirmed by a thorough inspection, which contradicted your earlier statement about the bolts being incorrect. Upon further examination, we were told the threads on the wheel had been damaged, and only three bolts were holding the wheel on. This raised significant safety concerns for us, as it suggested the issue was related to the work that was done previously.
Additionally, the suggestion that someone might have been trying to steal our wheels during our journey felt like an attempt to divert attention from the real issue.
Overall, what’s most disappointing to me is that, despite the concerns raised, the initial response seemed focused on shifting the blame rather than addressing the real problem at hand. This situation wasn’t just about faulty parts, but about a serious safety issue, and I believe it’s important for the garage to take responsibility for any potential oversight in the work that was done.

A pinch tricky to find but very worth it.

Came in for brake disk+pad change and there was a misunderstanding over the phone, they assumed I'm there to get only one axel changed while I was under the impression I will be getting both done.

Non the less they got the car up right away and done both for me while I waited.

Professional, Friendly and I must say great value for money.

I will deffinetly be back in the future.
