A few observations from our visit: 1. The room descriptions on the IHG site aren't really adequate to definitely know what you are booking for a room. We wanted a room with a separate sleeping area for one of our parents, and that is what we got although it apparently wasn't what I booked based on what we were told at the front desk, even though I thought I did book that type of room. 2. They really weren't ready for us even though we arrived after two in the morning. The main issue was the room was cold - they need to make sure the rooms are comfortable when people arrive. 3. We ended up staying in two different rooms (long story related to them not being ready for us). The first room had really weak WiFi, which would have been an issue had we stayed in that room. 4. Book breakfast with the room - Outside options are limited in the area and their breakfast is really good. 5. Location is somewhat isolated to many of the attractions in Bucharest, but really convenient to transit. We took transit everywhere we wanted to go. Overall, if I had to rate on just the first night, they would have been two stars, but they recovered well and we had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed for one night in this hotel. The initial interaction with the hotel was amazing, the lady I was in touch with was very pleasant and helpful.

We also got an upgrade which was nice.

However, when we arrived we had some issues with checking in, took us several minutes to confirm with staff member that we had a reservation (had to show emails, booking confirmation and explain).

When I checked in advance with the hotel and also restaurant, we were told that my dog’s size was welcomed at the hotel and restaurant (I called before going down again to check), the staff at the restaurant when we arrived were very rude, I was told my dog was dirty and it’s not good for food safety to have her there (I wash her every two weeks and she is a medium size very calm). It was shocking to hear because we had never had such incident before. The food was not good at the restaurant but we were demanded to tip higher. The food was also handled badly by the lady, she was braiding her hair in front of us, and didn’t wash her hands before touching silverware and food. There was cross contamination with food as well.

Although the room upgrade was very nice, we had significant issues with the room.

The ventilation system above the bed was broken or leaking, so made massive noises during our stay, and we got soaked in water whilst asleep. (Some of our belongings also did that was on the corner table).

Overall, it was a horrible stay and we wish we never went to this hotel. It is very sad because I try to only use IHG as I’m a platinum and I normally appreciate the service quality and detail, but here, it was worse than a budget 2 star hotel. I don’t like leaving public reviews when the experience is negative but this was far beyond acceptable. Never again.

Our stay was amazing! Everything with the hotel is super, we will visit it again! ||All the staff is friendly and professional! Congrats to Radu from the Reception Desk, who was highly hospitable! Radu took the extra mile so we can feel truly welcome and cared for and followed all IHG standards (recognized 1 Rewards loyalty, selected perfect room matching our preferences, provided dental kits as requested and explained about hotel amenities, kept our luggage in the luggage room, held friendly small talk for warm welcome).

Great place to stay, clean rooms, good views. Breakfast was great and even dinner at the restaurant was good too. Only complain is the halls and rooms have a height limit. Anyone over 6' should watch their head. Regardless though. Great place.

Very good place. All good . They make you pay for room service if you ordered anything they add extra money for each time they come to your room, even to bring s spoon?but all is very good. Minibar is very expensive like usual hotels water is very expensive.

Got a room upgrade due to my gold elite status. Room was clean & comfortable and looked brand new with all essential amenities. The ceiling of the room is very low which can be an issue for tall people. Breakfast buffet was delicious with good options. Location is excellent with short Uber ride to all attractions. Reception staff were polite & supportive. Highly recommended hotel for business or pleasure.

Awful hotel, absolutely not customer-oriented.

Let me explain the situation: We paid for a room on Booking and checked into the hotel, where they asked us for a card "just in case". We spent the night and left. Then we received an email that they couldn't charge the minibar price from the card.

We asked if it was a paid service, BECAUSE NEITHER ON THE WEBSITE NOR AT THE RECEPTION THEY DID NOT SAY A WORD ABOUT IT TO US!

Maybe they forgot, I don't know, but they didn't admit their guilt and didn't even apologize.

On the contrary, the administrator tried to make a fool of me and wrote "I definitely remember that I told you everything".

Then it turned out that there was a booklet with the price on the table in the room (the administrator didn't say a word about the booklet either, how was I supposed to find it?)

In short, we of course paid to them, but there was absolutely no apology.

Liars working there! Absolute disrespect.

And this needs to be mentioned on the website! But of course, they ignored the question about the website. Although, for example, for a washing machine in brackets on the website they indicate that it is a separate price list, but not for the minibar.

Good hotel, sounds proof window, very quiet at the inside, respectful stuff, delicious breakfast. Easy to reach by public transport. I recommend it.
