I bought a Dragon Tree with four stems online for £60. When I went to pick it up, only two of the four stems were left. Both were infested with parasites, and one of them was wilting. I wish I could add images here—if you want to see them, go on Google review and check homebase in Harringay, London

The seller handed me the plant and asked if I wanted a bag. Are you serious?

I can't believe I spent money to get to the store and go back home, just for this joke.

I found out that the store is closing so thought I'd visit to take advantage of sale items.
It had a month to go but it presented itself as a store that had just been looted by BLM rioters. Witnessed mass shoplifting and staff who had no interest in what was going on. Not surprised given that they were probably going to be made redundant. Goodbye Homebase. You didn't think you were going to rival B&Q did you?

No wonder this store is closing down. Customer service person rude and aggressive when asking about an item that was shown as one value but turns out to be incorrect and got shirty when I said well I’m not going to know if it’s labelled incorrect you. Asked for name and store manager overheard and without looking at me told me his name and asked if I wanted anybody else’s name in the store! I hadn’t caused a scene or been anything but civil to be met by these two incompetent, rude individuals who couldn’t care less about the customer! Horrible experience and would avoid in store purchases if this is the customer service level expectations!

Wouldn't even give a star today after my experience. I had been buying tiles and I'm a regular customer. The person serving me was polite but I was hugely surprised by the manager? Lak? Response. I respectfully asked if i could have two loose tiles for £2 each as someone had damaged and tampered with a box and 3 missing. I had bought to full boxes at £14 each ( 5 in a box) Lak then informed that I could have for £3 each. Well the last time I did math in school 3x5 = 15 so he was asking above the recommended price. His customer service skills are less to be desired. Even Rahul the polite guy who asked the manager for the reduction looked shocked. I'm never going to this store again and will take my custom elsewhere

I like coming to this store but do not always make a purchase because I think many items are not competitively priced. They offer an array of products from DIY goods, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, garden plants and accessories and more. Set up over two floors and easy to navigate through. Great place to get ideas.

Thank you homebase for selling me a dead Christmas tree. Having had it in my living room for a week in water, it has already lost 50% of its pines. And it will be there long before Christmas.
Where do you get off selling Christmas trees that were cut down in September?
I have children who will have to spend Christmas with a bare dad Christmas tree!

Lovely service from Mahmoud and Rosemary. Helped resolve my issue immediately. You can tell the manager understaffs the store but they were lovely and patient despite this.
