First off, I was let down by a previous installer who went into administration with our deposit. Obviously spooked, started to look for other installers and after a couple of conversations decided to choose Honest Solar.
As the name suggests, John was honest about pricing and recommendations for my system.
All questions and concerns were quickly replied to.
Install date is today and I am now all up and running with my solar PV and battery install.
Install was:
3.2KWp Longi LR5 panel array split south and east.
Sunsynk 3.6kw Inverter
2 x Sunsynk 5.2kw battery

Install team were awesome and very tidy.
MCS certified installer.

I contacted several companies and received various quotes. John from Honest Solar was the only one to spot that the inverter couldn’t go where I wanted it due to requiring 300mm space around it. This and his excellent communication and knowledge helped make my choice. From then, it was a faultless service. They turned up when they said, installed the panels in just over a day, and have provided excellent aftercare service. The scaffolding was up and down in a week, just as they said it would be. I can thoroughly recommend them.

John, Dan and team did an excellent, professional job in repairing our 12 year old solar PV installation which had stopped working due to being wired incorrectly. Wiring professionally renewed and secured in new trunking. Would definitely recommend Honest Solar.

I had several quotes from those doing 'self surveys' e.g. we're saving money by not sending anyone to look at your house to those who did send someone out. By far John from Honest Solar was the best and the most honest when it came down to the system required, how many panels would really fit on the roof, the shading issues and power that would be generated. Straight away i got a "i can trust this guy' feeling. This was borne out when the team arrived to do the install, very courteous & professional and hard working. They installed on a day that was extremely hot (especially on the roof of my 3 storey house) but stayed until they completed this large install..until around 10:15 pm. System is great. Honest Solar were good and have also provided me with post install support when i had issues with the fox inverter (Fox's fault not HonestSolar's). Overall i'm very pleased i went with Honest solar and have already recommended them to a friend who is going down the solar route, and there is no better recommendation than word of mouth to a friend!

Honest Solar installed panels and a battery for us. Very neat installation. John’s team work fast and it was all setup after one day (!) Scaffold was put up and down exactly when they said it would be. The system is working very well, we’ve barely used energy from the grid since it was setup. John is always very quick to get back to us on any queries we’ve had. Highly recommended.
