A massive shoutout to Howdens, New Romney.
My partner and I were making a trip to look at some interior doors, and the lovely Leon was so welcoming. Struggling to make a decision between doors, Leon pointed us into the right direction not being afraid to show us different option of doors and handles. Our bungalow is a work in progress, so we will defiantly be going back knowing the service we will receive will be spot on 🫶🏼

Excellent. We have recently used Howdens New Romney and are very pleased with the service the advice and the goods. Booked in to have a kitchen survey conducted over 2 weeks ago. Received a voicemail on Monday asking if we could possibly do a weekday appointment. I phoned the number back and explained that I couldn't do a week day this week and asked if they would still be able to come out on Saturday and they confirmed that the weekend appointment was still booked in for 10am.

Fast forward to today, I drove 45 minutes to the house which is currently empty and arranged with our builder to also attend. After no one arrived at 10.25am I called Howdens to be told that the appointment was booked in the managers diary but he was currently in a meeting and could now probably come out at 1pm if I wanted. I explained that I was booked in for 10am and that 1pm is 3 hours later than scheduled. At no point was I told that our 10am appointment was cancelled and even called to confirm it was still going ahead and was told it was.

Wasted not only our time but also our builders and now we are still without a kitchen. A very poor and unorganised service. Avoid!

A problem has been completely overlooked. Phone calls never returned. A lack of customer care.

Six panel grained doors, once fitted and painted, have gone yellow, in three months. Brewers paint Inspector has a report (iCorr Qualified Painting Inspector) Howdens are not even looking at the problem.

An outstanding branch of the brand. Staff are fantastic, products etc are top notch. Absolutely worth a visit, can very highly recommend.
