We (Challenger Society for Marine Science ECR Network) organised a communications training day with Incredible Oceans and had a very positive experience! Russell was a very enthusiastic, proficient and engaging trainer who utilised a range of practical techniques as well as theory discussions to help ECRs become more confident in communicating their science. We had very positive feed back from participants and all felt that the day helped improve their confidence and skills. This particular day focused more on video creation, but I know Incredible oceans offer a range of media training courses. A big thank you to Incredible oceans for the day!

We have worked with Incredible Oceans at the Swansea Science Festival for 2 years, and they are FANTASTIC!
...What's not to love about a giant Orca skull to capture people's attention, and a fish dissection demonstration that engaged a large audience for over an hour, with children skipping out enthusing about mackerel eyeball lenses.

Incredible Oceans never cease to amaze. They have a knack of presenting big ideas to audiences of all ages in a way only few sci-commers can manage. They are passionate, playful and MAD about our oceans. The world needs more Incredible Oceans! Also big shout out to Dr Russell Arnott who heads them up. He is an encyclopedia of marine facts. Just ask him the one about plankton farts.
