As a former employee I can safely say one of the worst companies I have worked for. At the start of covid they asked me to continue working whilst furloughing other sales staff, then whilst promising full pay they stopped paying my car allowance (without agreement) and then dropped my salary further which meant I was on 70% of contracted salary. It took 9 months to get hold of my payslips, and they only set them after they had terminated my employment which according to them was due to covid and funds - and now I find they have expanded their offices and are recruiting again for sales positions using government return to work schemes, they clearly have taken the opportunity to change staff and contracts just like British Airways have been heavily criticised for, STEER CLEAR!

We have used Core - which used to be Orchard IT for nearly 4 years - but we have found that for the last 14 months the service provided has deteriorated drastically. We used to get a regular visits from them to sort issues and general chat to make sure everything was ok. But this has stopped - they even didn't monitor our server correctly as it wasn't getting backed up for well over a week I had to point it out to them ( this was the second time this has occurred in a 12 month period). Our support calls are very hadhoc if they get returned.

We use Core for energy management, estates and waste and cannot recommend them highly enough. The team are always very quick to respond, even if we just have small maintenance tasks to do. We are looking to sign up to their gritting service this winter because we know that will be yet another job off our list and taken care of with professionalism. Great local business!

Found the CEO ‘all style and no honest substance’ - found him extremely untrustworthy an unpleasant when discrepancies were pointed out to him. The staff are pleasant to deal with, but a lot of things they say are changed when they go back and consult Gareth. We will not be using their services again.
