Ally at independent ropes is very knowledgeable and good mentor to get your rope access certification. I would definitely recommend independent ropes for anyone doing his initial training, stepping up levels or refreshing current levels.

Fantastic week at Independent ropes completing my Level 2 IRATA training

Course delivery was excellent from start to finish from both Ally and Gary.

Lynn handled my booking and was on hand with any questions I had before and during the course. Joining instructions were straightforward yet thorough with the addition of having all 3 levels covered on their YouTube.

Venue is ideal , minutes from local hotels and the airport and a short drive from Aberdeen centre.

All round great service. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Best in Aberdeen, Look no other training school for Ropes Access training. Doesn't matter if you are new in Ropes or well expirenced professional.

I work North Sea mainly ,and everyone knows how good Ally's place is.

I had a great experience at Independent Ropes. There are plenty of exercises to practise with and the instructors are very experienced. They are always there to assist and they pay a lot of attention with beginners. Definitely recommend!

Just completed my 5th lvl3 reveal and cant speak highly enough of the training.
Ally does a great job explaining everything and demoing all the maneuvers. I would recommend Independent to any doing an Irata course.

Just after spending a week at independent ropes doing my IRATA Level 1. Going in with no prior knowledge or experience on the ropes I instantly felt at ease with the trainers Gary and Ally. Everything was explained thoroughly and then a demonstration of what was required made it easy to learn.
By the end of the week everything falls into place nicely for the assessment.
The facilities are great with plenty of space for everyone to be on the ropes simultaneously with no pressure if you require a break or breather.
Thanks for the week and hopefully see you in 3 years for my first revalidation.

Completed my IRATA Level 1 this week. I couldn’t recommend Ally enough. Very professional instructor and makes you feel welcome from the minute you arrive.

A very enjoyable experience from start to finish and it isn’t often you say this on a weeks training. However coming from very little experience on the ropes, I left very confident and ready to get to work.

Not forgetting the assisting staff there too. 10/10 thanks guys. Hope to be back as soon as possible to complete more!!

I've trained at different venues every time revalidation comes round, but have returned to Independent Ropes this time. The training is concise and in line with the syllabus but allows exploring the options.
Ally, also being an assessor, has a vast knowledge of rope access and gives you all the techniques you need to sail through your assessment.
The facility is just the right size and really well laid out, allowing you to zip round and refresh all your skills without losing time on rigging, de-rigging, waiting on others, etc.
Highly recommended!
