Rubbish chargers.. I had a Smart Pro tethered unit originally installed with OLEV grant by Charged EV.. smart features are unreliable and the first unit failed within 18 months.. the second unit has again just failed and although the model is supposed to have a 5 year warranty they said the original unit only had 3 years so offered no support.. I would choose another brand if looking for a charger.. I'm certainly not buying another Indra charger they repeatedly fail and smart features are poor/unreliable.

As an update I arranged for a local sparky to replace with an Ohme charger.. on inspection of the Indra the connections inside were fried.. the connector that joins the power to the main board was melted. The Ohme unit is sealed and seems much more robust.. this just re-iterates the 1 star review which is too generous if you ask me.. but a limitation of google reviews.

Keep getting spam from them too.. just unsubscribed as got an email saying Octopus Inteligent compatible.. yeah if the charger actually powered on! NOT! Go elsewhere IMO!

Failed after 5 years - they have designed the whole unit to rest on two small thin pieces of plastic, one has failed to the right meaning the whole box is loose. No response when asked for repair quotes.

What an absolute mess of a company!!
I had a charger fitted and since day one everything has been so unreliable, one minute it charges and the next you have to do a reset on the machine, the benefit I had before is I could charge anytime but now I'm on an ev tarrif I have to wait up till midnight to switch it on and off several times and about 12:30 it might work.
My first unit fail completely in 8 months and now this one has started to have no lights other than the boost button which doesn't work.
I get all this is new and can be unpredictable but the customer service has become shocking, I call every day now to be told we will chase it, you are on hold for 40mins and the person on the phone can't see any updates or help and everyone that can is out of the office, I can show how many times I've told this. They simply don't care for after service and I can see I'm not the only one.
Avoid this company as they don't meet the minimum expectations and don't care to do so. I now have to use my granny charger and charge at peak rates to get enough charge to get to work and back, oh and the granny charger works flawlessly.

Really poor customer service when my charger gave up the ghost.

Didn't return emails or answer calls. After 11 days I had an electrician remove the defective charger and install a new one, only for Indra to tell me that I should have used an Indra electrician to keep the warranty - well I would have, if they'd replied at all! Indra can't tell me what the issue with my charger is, only that it's not their fault.They're very quick at responding to emails now that my warranty is void...

The charger worked OK before it died. The plastic casing feels a bit flimsy and the app was useless. Nowhere to store your cable, so inevitably it ends up on the ground. You also had to press the boost button really hard to force a charge, but it did at least put energy in the car...for awhile.

Have changed to the MyZappi which is streaks ahead in terms of functionality, easy of use - plus it looks good on the driveway! And MyEnergi's customer service has been great too.

Take my advice and avoid this company if you expect any sort of customer support in exchange for your hard earned cash.

OK, well I did have a problem with smart charging and I awoke to an uncharged car. However, the proverbial does happen and it's how the problem was dealt with that counts. I sent an email at about 6.30am before I left for work and had a reply by 9am. The fault was corrected remotely within 24 hours.

I have waited 8 days post commissionnong and still waiting for call back/email response to get the charger setup.

Firstly, I was suprised, when I called support on 6/6 post commissioning, that support told me app takes 48hours after commissioning for it to be linkable with charger.

I waited 2.5 days before I called again. A mesaage was taken for a call back. 5 days on (including 3 working days) , still no call backs.

Problem had deterioriated in that on app setup, it will not even let me confrim my car, let alone linking the EV charger. I also needed support how to setup the charger to use partial/solely solar power (I was told when I called initially on 6/6 that i need the app to setup solar charging) so I emailed them on 12/Jun. Auto email response promised a 24hours response. Chaser was sent after 24 hours, and 2 days on- no replies still. i called again, selected the app support option and Antonio told me support is busy and took my details again for a call back

Addendum on 22-Jun. 1>2star as charger half working at least:
1) 14/Jun- Nathan from support answered my call and told me issue is that my account was setup on old platform for web browser and he forced through migration, but I am unable to confrim my car on the app

2) 15/Jun- support advised me to skip car setup. car charged a little until it goes into error.

3) 16/Jun- support advised error is due to car drawing more current tha charger allow and support setup a backend only config to limit current

4) 17 and 19/Jun charger drawing from grid when on solar mode. 20/Jun- supoort advised this is due to charger calibration

5) support clarified when on solar mode and I pressed Boost, then charging will be on 7.6kw, drawing whatver excess from Solar PV. Support told me initially it is either solar charging with any excess from solar PV ot 7.6k from grid.

6) 21/Jun- charger went offline a few times- awaiting feedback. also charge from 20/6 not registered on history

Terrible support, not open out of hours or weekends and never answer the phone or respond to emails. Got through to the installation support and they said they will send a message to the home team and nothing. Do not bother with this company as its all about the after care with your charger not just the initial installation.

I have an Indra Smart PRO , purchased due to having solar , and the cable storage around the charger keeps the cable neat and tidy, the app is also very good at detailing charging sessions (im on British Gas with a cheap 5 hrs window over night), screen shot below of the app, I've had no issues at all and I'd be wary of some of these bad reviews , more than likely a bad install rather than the charger itself, my Smart PRO is connected to my router via WiFi and works fine so I don't understand some of these negative comments about connectivity, how can people blame the charger when the unit offers hardwired and 4G options, so if it doesn't connect to your WiFi - rather than blaming Indra, why are you not investigating connecting the unit via alternative options of which Indra offer.
