We moved into a house in 2021 that had an Intergas boiler installed in 2018. Every year we have had an issue with it, including having to have parts replaced. Lo and behold it has another issue, only after calling round several local boiler engineers I've been told they won't touch Intergas anymore due to the extortionate prices of their parts not making it worth it.
Meaning the only route to go through is Intergas themselves...

I've been sat on the phone for over an hour (!!) with their customer service trying to book a repair and haven't moved in the queue. Simply not good enough at a crucial time of year for many with their central heating. Cannot urge people enough to AVOID having one of their boilers installed as you'll be stuck in their expensive, unresponsive ecosystem.

Boiler broke 5 days ago and I been without heating and hot water. Bought the boiler 4 years ago but because it hadn't been serviced. Intergas has voided the warranty because of this. Just had British Gas round to try fix it but refused because they can't get Intergas parts. Leaving me with no boiler and no heating for the foreseeable future. 6 inch deep snow freezing and they don't care.

I’m a gas engineer, I have fitted many of Intergas boilers. The customer service is rubbish, not worth fitting their boilers. I had them replace a pump on a new boiler. One of my customers called Intergas as the boiler was 2-3 years old with 7 year warranty and intergas had asked for £350 to descale a new boiler, they came out so many times and each time coming out saying different installation faults just to try and not cover the warranty and try steal money from customers.

Any one reading this and looking for a new boiler stick with Baxi, they have very good customer service and warranty.

We have had dealings with intergas a few times and the people they employ are brilliant. The engineers are always polite and friendly and Laura over at customer sevice really clinched the 5 star review for them! Great service

Just been on hold for 40 minutes then the call was ended. With no options for a call back etc. Very unhappy they've got over £300 of mine and I cannot get in touch!
Update. The engineer arrived and told me that the small drip on my boiler was due to a screw which needed tightening. He tightened it. I said that because he had not replaced a part I wouldn't have to pay for yhe call out. Not the case. He said that this fault had been logged on the gas safe register and that the engineer who serviced my boiler previously should have searched for this and tightened it up and applied sealant. I explained it wasn't leaking then. He said he still should've done it and charged me the full £300 or so call out fee!!!! Never again will I buy one of these boilers.

We bought an intergas boiler 6 years ago when we had the radiators replaced. Were given a choice of a Worcester or Intergas and told the latter were the new hot product with great reliability so we opted for it. REGRETED it straight away.
Firstly, they are not so reliable as made out to be. We get ours serviced every year and yet its always given us isues.
The technicians have been a pain to deal with and I find them rude and aloof. Not particularly warm or polite and come across condescending.
Pretty much had problems with the boiler every year despite the costly annual service we pay for. That service is done by Intergas also because other companies don't like to touch their boilers. So its a nice lucrative monetary ecosystem they have built . Also they rasied the price of the service this year by 34%.... because they can I guess!
This was our last annual service as we will just let the boiler run now until it dies and then get another brand. Stuck with Intergas until then.

Service is shockingly bad, the excuses that their telephone lines are down is a load of rubbish. Have been on the phone 4 times
each time for hours waiting for someone to pickup over the span of 2-3 months so if they can’t fix a telephone line I’m very doubtful they can fix a boiler.

I booked in the service eventually that was 1 month ahead as they seem too busy to care.

Day of the booking, it’s the wrong engineer even though I sent serial codes and everything to the company they seemed to think it’s our fault.

Had to wait hours again to rebook only to be told I’ll have to wait another month to book.

I have asked for a refund T £480 as there were 4 boilers to service.

Looking to get my normal guy in to check off the gas safe.

I had a intergas boiler installed in a property back in 2009 , one of many biolers installed including bocsh in our properties..the intergas boiler has never broken down in all those years ..
.and runs as quite as the day it was installed, it has a been regularly serviced , I prefer it to bosch.
