This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They only care about taking your money, and the moment you run into any problems, they will do everything to avoid paying money back. Their customer service is beyond horrible — rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret ever buying from them, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Save yourself the stress and stay far away from this company.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with JC Campbell Electrics and I would strongly advise potential customers to proceed with caution.

Here’s my story:

1. Poor Communication:
After placing my order for a Bosch oven on 14 June, I selected Thursday 19 June as the delivery and installation date. When I realised I needed to cancel the order, I contacted them on 16 June, the same day I made the decision. Despite this, they failed to provide clear answers regarding the order's status. I was told the oven hadn’t been dispatched yet but could not get a proper update.

2. Contradictory Emails:
Their email on 16 June stated that my order had been processed but not dispatched. However, subsequent emails suggested the oven had been dispatched to the delivery company, Kaboodle, which was a direct contradiction. The cancellation policy clearly states that orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch, but they insisted on imposing a £114.53 return charge despite me cancelling before any dispatch had occurred.

3. Unreasonable Charges:
After my cancellation, they initially tried to charge me £114.53 for returning the oven, which was an unfair charge for an item that I had not even received. They later reduced the fee to £60. Both charges were unreasonable and appeared to be an attempt to avoid offering a full refund.

4. Delivery Company Communication:
It was only on 19 June, the day of the originally scheduled delivery, that I received a delivery scheduling email from Kaboodle. This email proved that the oven had not been dispatched prior to my cancellation request, as I had originally been led to believe.

5. Slow Customer Service and Unclear Refund Process:
I eventually had to file a dispute with PayPal after receiving no satisfactory response from JC Campbell. The process dragged on for several days, causing unnecessary stress before I finally received a full refund.

Conclusion:

I eventually received a full refund through PayPal but this experience was poorly handled and left me feeling frustrated. The initial unreasonable charge, contradictory information about dispatch, and slow response times make it clear that this company does not prioritise customer satisfaction.

I would not recommend JC Campbell Electrics to anyone, especially for large purchases, as their customer service and refund policies are unclear and unfair. Be cautious when dealing with them.

Faultless! I ordered a bosch gashob online from these guys however bosch were unable to supply the product. JC's were very quick to remedy the situation with what I consider to be a superior alternative at no extra cost as good will. The customer service was easy, friendly and without fault. Totally recommend them.

Good sized showroom with a large inventory of home entertainment and home appliances. Staff member Michael is on hand to answer any questions and provide assistance as you deliberate over your decision on the pros and cons of oled TVs versus led TVs and the merits of various brands etc

Only used this company once so far but have to say it was excellent. Ordered a Dyson product at a good price. Fast service, very efficient and prices very competitive. Delivery arrived on time and in good order. Very easy to order on line and order filled as stated - no hassle and straight forward, so thank you. Some of the bigger retailers could learn from these guys. It pays to look around and you can get great service.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced from a company. I agree with the other reviewer - if there are any issues their customer service is shocking. Unprofessional and I would never use them again!
