Thank you to the amazing engineer Darren who came out, diagnosed our washing machine issue, part was ordered and delivered and installed by the next day! Amazing service!! Reasonable charges, super quick and excellent level of service. I highly recommend!

I honestly couldn't be happier. In a world where customer service seems to have gone down the drain, searles went above and beyond to help us out with a dishwasher issue (the faulty dishwasher wasn't initially from Searles by the way) replacing our dishwasher in only a few hours of buying it! Absolutely amazing and restored my faith in good customer service! Special thanks to Calum! Highly recommend shopping locally because of the outstanding personalized service you get! Thank you.

I'm updating the message below which was sent mid Feb 2024. It's mid March now and I've just got an email by Euronics saying that I'm being refunded £55 in the coming days. It took more than a month to do so but eveything is alright now. My apologies to Searle & Son for being a bit harsh with them.

I'm sorry to say that I'm disappointed by Searle. I wanted to change my fridge and found one on their web site. I ordered it and added the service to replace the old one. Total cost was £354 which is ok. Later in the week I got a call from them saying that the fridge was no longer available so I asked them to reimburse me. They did, but only £299. I think it's just a rip off and I lost £55 for nothing. Not nice, I won't buy there anymore.

Can't thank Darren enough for the sure excellent service and honesty. He ordered the board from France at 3.00 yesterday Tuesday, the part arrived this morning Wednesday and it was replaced by I.25 pm . Absolutely brilliant service, and can surely recommend J.Searle and son to anyone.

I cannot recommend the service we received from Searle's highly enough. Replacing oven and hob (so old that some parts no longer available, and others would cost more to repair than buy new), we visited their shop (an absolute gem of a find for all things electrical) to chose replacements. These were fitted the following morning. Very courteous and helpful shop staff members and installers. The cost of the repair visit was waived as we had then purchased from them.

When a major kitchen appliance reaches the end of it's life, it's essential to get a replacement as quickly as possible. Add a requirement as in our case, to find an integrated, in-column larder fridge with very specific measurements, this increases the challenge immensely. One phone call to Searle's describing what we needed, who phoned back within minutes, having been able to source the very model we wanted. Order then placed and within days, the new fridge was installed and the old one taken away. The level of service was superb throughout. Price was competitive especially as they were able to complete a very professional installation using their own fitter. Very happy indeed.

I always say a company's true colours come through when things go a little wrong. We recently bought a dishwasher from Searle & Son. The chaps delivered the well priced dishwasher quickly and efficiently. We also paid the extra to have the old appliance and all rubbish taken away which was all carried out very professionally.
The van drivers did however dent our postbox when leaving our house. J Searle & Son allowed me to buy a replacement and refunded me speedily with no quibble. This is excellent customer service.

All-in-all for price and speed, I highly recommend J Searle and Son. Thank you

We've always received excellent service from Searle's of Buckfastleigh but today they have even surpassed themselves. Within three hours of reporting a fault on our Hotpoint oven a lovely young man called Darren called & fitted a new heating element with zero fuss and bother. Fantastic service.
