We have used Turners for over 20 years to install and maintain our central heating, hot water and underfloor heating system. They are exceptionally professional and knowledgeable and work hard to resolve any issues that crop up. Adam has been our most regular technician over the past few years and he did a particularly good job upgrading our underfloor heating system, as well as maintaining our boiler on an ongoing basis. Would highly recommend Turners. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Absolutely terrible experience with this company who just want to rinse you for money at every step.

I had a fault with a radiator that would not turn on. After the first visit the matter was not resolved but I was charged £500 for this short visit. On the second visit I was charged £780 and was told they were still no closer to solving the problem. They then had to come a third time to remove chemicals from the system that they had put in, at yet further cost. So I am now around £1500 down and am no closer to having this single radiator fixed. I have had to just give up as cant keep throwing limitless money at these people.

Dealing with James A Turner you have to be prepared to basically write a blank cheque and hope for the best, as they give no assurance on the results and seemingly charge indefinite amounts for work. As an aside, I also asked them to quote me to fix a broken toilet which they said would be £500. Another plumber came the following day for £100 and its now working perfectly.

I would caution anybody against using them. There are other local plumbers who do a better job for much less. I don't usually write Google reviews, but this was an exceptionally poor experience.

Came to fix my pump that pushed the hot water round my flat. Gemma was super good at booking me in and then when a sooner slot opened up called, and actually remembered the constraints I had on availability which was nice.

They reserved the replacement so on the day the chappy was in to fully diagnose and check, out again to get the new pump and bish bash bosh new pump installed, got water working great and no mess left over. All in all took maybe an hour and half tops, including him popping to Ware to get the replacement once it was confirmed the whole pump was on its way out.

We have used these company for installation, maintenance...and for putting right others errors! They are tinely, efficient, tidy and altogether nice people. They charge a fair rate and nothing is too much trouble...from reception to whoever comes to do the work. Particular name check for Adam! Thanks.
