Rang them and spoke to Lisa. Told Lisa I had a selection of scrap iron but not quite enough for a skip. Lisa advised next time they are in the area they will contact me for a collection. 3 days later Lisa advised they could be with me in the next 3 days and would ring prior to call on the day they would be calling. On the day I received a call they are on the way and 15 minutes later their six wheeler skip truck arrived. Everything was loaded efficiently and with a polite and friendly service. Later that day received email saying how much they would pay for my scrap metal and requesting our bank details for payment. I think I would be correct in saying that many people have experienced a varying degree of services lately and I have to say it was a refreshing experience to deal with a local company who did exactly what they promised. Thank you Johnson Metals Limited and everyone I spoke to or met within within the company.

Always efficient and friendly and happy to take small households amounts as well. I'm very glad that they take all vehicle reg and check ID which gives me confidence that they would turn away illegal activity.

The best scrap yard on the planet and trust me iv used them all, friendly service the main man there is a laugh, scales are on point, I know this as I have a load weight indicator fitted on the truck and it is bang on give or take a few kilos, the money was paid into the bank same day no charge and no great big cues to get in and out, I was there all week and saved so much time. If only all scrap yards were as good as Johnson’s 👍

An Ideal place to take your old scrap metal and get paid for it, very helpful and friendly staff,
To stay legal they must take your vehicle registration and you must show I.D. and give your bank details and they will set up an account for you, to make payment into your bank,
NO CASH PAYMENTS MADE.
