After receiving a quote that was nearly half the price of what a national company had offered, his team promptly started the installation. Despite facing torrential rain during the process, the team maintained a safe and professional environment and continued their work undeterred. Saying we're pleased with the results would be an understatement—they did an exceptional job. To wrap things up, Jack returned to guide us through the app, ensuring we understood everything. Jack, Ben, and the team did a fantastic job of designing and installing our 7.8kW solar system with 10.4kW storage.
At every stage of the process the communications were clear and during the survey we discussed and agreed how the system would be installed and where the necessary cables would be run.
The advice included replacement of our aged mains cupboard equipment to meet modern standards, and all work was done professionally and with the utmost regard for the property.
The guys worked cleanly and tidily, and all mess was cleaned up.

JTD Group have been excellent in every step of the process whilst quoting, surveying, installing and commissioning my new residential 6.1KW PV system with battery storage, essential power supply (for power cuts) and zappi car charger.
Knowing pretty much what I wanted from the system it was refreshing to have a great technical chat with Jack, where he then produced exactly what I wanted in a survey and quotation. During the install, the team of four worked professionally and cleanly to very high standard (as can be seen in the pictures).
After the commissioning process, Jack took lots of time to explain in detail how to switch into EPS mode (for power cuts) and also provided this in documented form with all of the certificates for the installation on the evening of the final day.
I am so glad I chose to use JTD Group, they have gone the extra mile to make this an easy process for me.

I've delayed reviewing to allow for any issues but there hasn't been any. Installed a 7.5kw system, super friendly installers, competitive price too. They also ad-hoc installed an electronic device on one of the panels where it would be partially shaded by the chimney stack to improve the overally performance. Would use again and have recommended. They also were agreeable to making the layout symmetrical and the finish is great as they now cover the silver frames with a black frame on the large efficient panels as well as superneat bird protection rods rather than wire mesh. I’m not normally compelled to write reviews, but JTD really do deserve a five star recommendation.
I did a lot of online research and then called around several solar companies for quotes before choosing JTD.
I wanted to find a competent solar installer and electrician who could source what I needed at a competitive price and take care of the installation for me.
Unfortunately it’s a very ‘salesy’ industry, and you have to listen to a lot of scripted sales spiel from most companies (and most of the ones I could find were office based and just outsource everything). But, after speaking to a number of ‘pushy’ solar sales guys, it was a relief when I spoke to Jack. He is a lovely, polite and professional chap who was more than happy to answer my numerous questions and provide honest advice.
Best of all is that you’re speaking to the guy who actually does the installs with extensive knowledge of the products and exactly how they work etc (not a sales guy sat in an office). It seemed like nothing was too much trouble, and Jack happily gave a lot of time to help me decide what system would work best for me.
I couldn’t believe the speed and professionalism of Jack and his team. I must add that his entire team was polite, professional and efficient. They are a credit to the company.
The install and the electrical work is very tidy and the system works brilliantly so far. Jack has provided all of the paperwork, warranties, building control notices, and submitted the necessary forms to the power company.
We opted for a 5kw array, with an inverter, 4.8kw battery, and a solar iBoost (to divert any unused energy into our water tank). We also asked for a back-up board, which allows us to draw on the panels in the event of a power cut (most on-grid systems don’t allow this).
JTD sourced the equipment and installed within seven days of me giving them the go-ahead (everything was installed and working within two days of them arriving on site).
Again, I would highly recommend this company. Keep up the good work Jack & JTD team.
Ps. My wife also said that Jack looks like Ant Middleton, which is an added bonus. But I don’t know what that means.
