Genuinely one of the worst companies I have dealt with. I first got in touch with Kijoma in September 2022. They said that they would be able to provide me with Ultra fast broadband and telephone services.

However, they would need to send an engineer around in order to establish what I need. They said that they can’t give an exact date but it would be within the next month or two.

December comes and still no contact from Kijoma. We chase them again and they respond with a vague couple of months again.

As you can guess again we are kept waiting.

In February I have tried to call them but no one answers the phone. I have e-mailed and had no response from them too.

After weeks of trying I finally get through to them in March, as I was running wiring through the house already it would have made it easier to run things in advance and to ask them about antenna type and placement. They asked me to send some images of the property. Which I did.

Since that point I’ve made numerous calls and sent e-mails without any response.

There is genuinely nothing good I can say about my experience with them. I have finally given up on using them 10 months after first contact.

The owner of this business operates with the thinnest of grasps of his legal regulatory obligations to customers and even less of a clue of what customer service might actually mean.
1) no proper Terms and Conditions
2) complete opacity of charges for anything else than the standard packages advertised on the website (no mention of call out charges or anything else): prices are made up as they go along, and many months can lapse between communications
3) detailed written technical specifications for upgrading an old legacy installation that were promised after a site visit never materialised, leaving us to our own devices and Kijoma have the audacity to accuse US of getting it wrong and causing issues
4) acting upon representations from Kijjoma, we switched our phone services away from BT and Kijoma supplied phones which never performed properly. This is a major problem for the continuity of healthcare provision for a vulnerable 96 year old relative in our household. Again, the business owner blames us.
5) no proper complaints procedure as required by the Ombudsman scheme to which Kijoma adhere so we are in complete limbo
6) rather than engage with customers properly, they will not think twice before simply cutting off your internet connection without any kind of due process or thoughts as to the consequences of such action on people who actually need a connection to be able to work from home.
So, if you want decent customer service, do go somewhere else. This is nothing short of appalling and we are in the process of instructing solicitors and initiating a complaint with the Ombudsman.

There isn’t an option for 0 stars. Other one star reviews sum up some of the issues with this company. So I won’t further waste your time like Kijoma does with customers. They will give extremely vague time scales and still not honour them. In my book that is tantamount to telling lies.
