UPDATE -WARNING POOR COMMUNICATIONS
As of 1st April 21 you now don't get paper permits if you have a van or simliar vehicle. Communications on this are wait in a long queue get to the end and then get asked for it. No easy notification on council website for this and no signs for when your in the massive queue meaning you then get sent away and have to go through the queue again and then log into your council account fill out Reg/ waste show hire agreement for van for example and takes about 5mins if you get a signal which is very poor in the area. Best to be done one you have filled your chosen vehicle up before you get there and they check what you put on the digital permit and QR code which can be printed out if you dont show on your mobile.
PS have moved everything around again so if you haven't been recently you might not be familiar with some of the lower containers for the usual recycle and disposal.
Covid restrictions mean a long wait and they are monitoring drivers waiting on the main road so you may need to circle the area a few times until there is spaces. A lot of people not separating rubbish and you may need to show prove of living in the local area such as driving licence etc. A lot more restricted than it used to be and as per latest photo there is new opening hours with 15 mins before closing is last entry. Will stay open during the summer 1st April to 30th September till 8pm on Wednesday which doesnt make up for being shut Thursday or Friday.

The dump itself is well run but the online booking system is a shambles, email address ane password constantly not recognised. It's frustrating. No wonder people get fed up and fly tip!!!!

Really well organised. The guys are all doing their level best to get the vehicles through. Some people on the other hand (service users) are just total D!@ks... So impatient and rude. Unbelievable what people think they can say and do. Keep up the good work 👍
