Went in this morning to enquire about freezers. Helpful and informative. Had one in store which was just what I needed so I purchased it and they delivered it an hour later. Excellent service from a local store. We received the same excellent service last year too. Cant beat shopping local.

Integrated washing machine broke down a few days before we were due to travel 300 miles to a funeral following a family bereavement and the 3 weeks away for Christmas.

Phone Lakes Electrical at 4.20pm. "Yes we have 3 in stock come in before we close at 5pm." Great advice, chose a machine. Dean, the owner, overheard and offered to follow us home in his van to deliver. when he arrived he helped me in with the machine AND fitted it!

Within the space of a a couple hours Lakes Electrical had us back washing our clothes to be ready to go away. Fantastic people, great advice and great customer service. Thanks so much.

So pleased I popped in to enquire about a new under counter fridge for my parents.

One in the show room perfect for their needs. Phoned dad, he went straight down, liked it, bought it and an hour later it was delivered.

Would not recommend - very disappointing service
Poor workmanship (no dust sheet and no wire) resulted in going missing from the job for nearly an hour (which I was charged for) followed by a whopping price increase! Over 60% with no warning of this prior to the work.
When I spoke to the store they said “all prices go up” and they have ignored my email complaint.
It’s sad that local services can’t be trusted anymore.
