I recently had my loft boarded and a ladder fixed. From the start, Jay offered me the best price and was incredibly helpful. I was confident enough to agree on the spot and paid the initial deposit.

The Victorian team did an amazing job — they completely transformed my dusty, unused loft into a clean, practical space. Their work was efficient, tidy, and professional throughout. The survey and pre-sales support was great. The installer, Jay (Luton based), was very hard working and had to deal with challenges due to another installer becoming unavailable. Jay is a great asset to the company. Overall the work was completed as commissioned.

However, I felt some of the work, in particular to the cuts of the boards were a sign of rushing or lack of time due to the aforementioned 'challenges'. I was not happy with every cut having these extra grooves. I raised it with the team after the install who were only interested in my final payment. The support team said the images/cuts are 'perfectly acceptable'. Based on the marketing images I didn't receive the impression this is what I would be left with and why I complained.
