I have recently had my driveway tarmacked, steps built and two sleeper retaining walls constructed. I have to thank the team who had to work in some testing weather conditions. Ben and his team Callum and Charlie pushed on and despite the rain always left the site tidy. Alison back at the office was a joy to deal with. Lee the estimator was great as well offering experienced advice and guidance. I feel the results speak for themselves and also the positive comments from Neighbours and people passing by.

What a difference three weeks makes!

We’re super impressed by the work of Macavis Group in transforming our garden.

Only 3 weeks to rip up the turf, flatten the ground, replace all new patio, build raised sleeper borders with ragstone, lay artificial grass, erect a shed and pergola. Not to mention replacing the front grass with artificial lawn!

All the guys were so considerate and hard-working. Thanks John for supplying such a great team! The workmanship was very high quality and we would definitely recommend!

Done a new sewer connection for us last minute with no fuss. Great price compared to local competition.
Communication throughout was second to none and even went out of thier way to use the excess tarmac to patch up our drive. Could not recommend enough.

Mandy was so helpful in the ordering of the type 1 primary. There was no question she couldn’t answer and she was patient with me being a novice in ordering building supplies and equipment. She also arranged for hardcore to be taken away following delivery. Price was very reasonable and we are pleased with the product. Definitely would recommend as we have been happy for the three times we have used Macavis.

Macavis recently connected our waste services for our self-build project - with less than a weeks’ notice following another contractor letting us down last minute! John visited the site the very next day, explained the work involved to help us understand the quote, and provided clear and transparent pricing brackets should the work entail more than scoped (given subsurface nature). As we weren’t based on site, John sent us photos of the progress every day. The works completed were timely, professional and kept very tidy throughout. The communication has been fantastic and I’d highly recommend using Macavis.
