"After doing various insulation and glazing improvements to our 1890's Malvern stone house, I felt the time was right to go for a heat pump. We contacted Will and the team at Solar Malvern and they came out to do a survey. We worked together to get as realistic a picture of the heating requirements of our home as possible and it turned out that we would need some new radiators and a new hot water cylinder. Will and the team prepared quotes for various options, and there was a bit of difference in what some of the manufacturers were coming back with, but in the end we went with the Vaillant 7kW.

When the installation date came the team arrived promptly and we discussed the plan for the installation work. The team were very professional and put down carpet protection and dust sheets before starting any work. The installation took 5 days plus 2 days for snagging, each day I was informed of the work to take place and disruption to heating and hot water was kept to a minimum. This is an older property so finding places to run pipes and mount sensors was quite a struggle for the installation team, I'm not going to pretend that there wasn't any issues, but they were all resolved in the end. I would say that having a heat pump installed involves quite a lot of disruption and people should be aware of this beforehand.

The result has been well worth it though, the house is always at an even temperature, there is plenty of hot water and it doesn't cost anymore to run than my old gas boiler did. The unit is outside the kitchen window and makes very little noise, its hardly noticeable at all. I am happy to recommend Solar Malvern to anyone looking to have a heat pump installed."

I had several installers come to quote on a solar array and battery storage. My set up was a little more complex than the norm.
Having been given much conflicting information from the other installation companies I then found Malvern Solar.
They did a lot of pre installation inspection to assess which loads my three phase system was actually feeding to.
They gave guidance as to how to get my electricity supplier to connect up my three phases (only 2 were live) and then they rebalanced the phases.
Installation was quite complicated however they did the whole process in a tidy way and at the price they’d quoted.
I would be happy to recommend them as they are knowledgeable, professional and actually understand how all this new dangled technology works.

A really good company to work with and one I would recommend highly. We had new panels, inverter and battery installed in October. The quotation was competitive and well explained; the price was even reduced when the scaffolding quotation came in lower than the original estimate! Work was carried out quickly with minimal mess and disruption. As a retired aerospace engineer I recognise good workmanship when I see it and I would rate the skill, safety consciousness and quality of finish provided by Malvern Solar as excellent. The system has operated trouble free so far. I hope it will continue to do so but if I ever have any queries I am confident that they will be responded to quickly and professionally.
