I have been a loyal customer for over 14 years. The pump , reservoir and mediket , I have never had issues with my sensor when it is working.

My sensors have longevity issues. Very rarely dose it last past 4 days which can be frustrating as I work. I am unable to charge my sensor at work and then it takes 2 hours to update. Today I felt that I was being interrogated because I had to order more sensors , I was sent through to product support who told me I would have to speak to my diabetes nurse for more supplies. Eventually they agreed to supply me. As a type 1 , I need to be aware of my blood glucose. The sensor let's the whole cgm ideas down completely. I was made to feel that it was my fault that their sensors fail. Very upset.

The items have benefited my life when all is working well. 😪

My partner suffers from chronic pain syndrome. Here remote controller for her implanted neuro stimulator stopped working. She phoned Medtronic for a replacement and told them we were due to travel abroad within the next few days.
They sent her a new one which arrived in under 24 hours. We cannot thank them enough for there wonderful efficient customer support.

Stay clear, go with another pump supplier. Awful service, no way would I trust them with supplying equipment to keep me alive. Was due to start on a pump in August with items being delivered to me over a period of time. Ended up with duplications, missing items and confusion before the NHS training session. Upto then had three failed attempts on their part to collect equipment via a courier. Waited in three days for them to collect the parcels.... and nothing. I decided to not go with them and removed myself from the pump project. Yesterday was the 4th attempt to pick up and no courier. I've waited in all day for four days and have lost that amount of pay. How they stay in business, I don't know.

I have been with Medtronic for a long time and never had many issues. I finally have an issue and the response has been awful. I have been told the essential piece of equipment maintaining my health will come next day. The next day comes then nothing. Then told may be up to 6 days but is with the courier for next day delivery. I have called many times and am told something different every time. I am so glad I am due a new insulin pump in 5 months and can say it won’t be Medtronic as the times you really need them they have failed. I am most likely going to be hospitalised as a result this coming from the specialist endocrine consultant.

Medtronics customer service team are all very friendly, however, friendly is good if they could actually do their job properly. Something as simple as changing a home address should be easy enough. Not for them! 3 attempts I have made to have this changed and filled out their form (which is not the easiest form to fill out) and sent it back. I requested confirmation that it had been changed and got one. Fantastic! Made my order as normal and got the shipping email through to say that my parcel has been shipped to address that I have not lived at for over 2 years! Never mind the one I most recently moved from or the one I requested it be changed to now. Now I'm struggling to reach them in time before a delivery attempt is made! This is not the first time I have struggled getting my details changed on file either as this also happened the last time I moved bearing in mind that each time they fail to update the address, I end up failing the security questions because of their negligence!

Very poor customer service for getting replacement pump after holding twice they lifted phone and hung up to then get threw to customer service and have them call me back. So pump was organised to be delivered next day before 6pm its now past that and I tried to ring they close at 5pm. Went threw to the emergency but and the gentleman sounded like id just woke him up and hardly even spoke I had to keep asking are u still there? To be told no one could help, best bit about it he didn't know what a metronic pump was !!!

Camilla was friendly, helpful and patient. As was the lady I spoke to after. When it was clear the monitor would not work I was told a new one would be sent. This arrived just 4 days later. Excellent service - thank you.
