Milt and Edie’s is a well-known institution in the Burbank Area. If you’ve never been a customer there, chances are you’re at least familiar with the building if you’ve driven down Alameda Ave. - it’s impossible to miss in it’s pink and black color scheme.

With wardrobe departments at the nearby WB, Universal, and Disney Studios in constant need of their services, dry cleaners in Burbank are a dime a dozen. My wife and I could walk 3 blocks in any direction and hit one. And while some are closer to where we live, and others may offer better prices, Milt and Edie’s has been our one and only choice for the past 7 years.

Why?

Simple. They’ve gone out of their way to make the act of visiting their store MEMORABLE, and SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT. ?

Aside from the eye-catching exterior, there are a number of attention-to-detail elements that stand out at Milt and Edie’s:

→ Fun and quirky signs at every parking spot
→ Inspiring and motivational quotes posted on their street-facing signage
→ Cookies, popcorn and coffee served as refreshments
→ Dedicated staff member patrolling the line and ensuring you are both greeted and assigned a checkout desk upon entry
→ Music videos and interesting visuals to take in while you wait

In essence, Milt and Edie’s has taken dry cleaning - something as bland and automatic as filling up your car with gas - and managed to make it FUN. And can't we all use a little more of that in our lives?

Honestly this is by far the most service-oriented dry cleaners in Southern California. Even my kids love to run this errand with me because of the popcorn and treats they have out. Service and quality are outstanding. Been using them for at least 10 years. The taylors on site are great too. Everyone is friendly and quick to get you in and out.

On Friday, Nov. 15th. I called the dryclearners that my husband and I go to, that when we were dating he recommended it to me. Love that place. Sadly, for this situation, needed to have my wedding dress dry cleaned and ready for the next day early if possible. The latest the morning of the wedding day, if so earliest that same night. I called two more dryclearners, it wasn’t possible at the original place that we go to, to have it dry cleaned in a short amount of time. The 2nd dryclearners, wasn’t possible either. The 3rd dryclearners I called Legacy 1HR Cleaners & the manger that I spoke to, he recommend me to Milt & Edie’s for a 24 Hour Cleaning. I truly appreciated it, very much. I honestly was worried before and the gentleman lifted the worry off of me, for that I am truly grateful. I took my dress to the dryclearners and they were able to dry clean my dress within the amount of time when I need it ready. Also, they gave me a gift bag for being there my first time and everything is so cute and going to be very helpful to use as time goes on.

My husband and I live on the east coast, but are fortunate to travel regularly to the LA-area (and are relocating there soon). Whenever we've needed laundry done mid-travel, we stop at Milt and Edie's. There's a sense of nostalgia when walking into the store - not only the decor, but the friendly employees, the cartoon mascots on the walls, and the popcorn for customers bring about a sense of childhood nostalgia reminiscent of running your favorite errand with your parents as a child.

I have always received my items thoroughly laundered, neatly folded, and on time (I am usually requesting rush service). Their customer service is also top notch - I have even had staff reach out after I have left to ensure my request was honored. This place is not just a good business, but a good ambassador to the community. I am happy that my family will continue supporting this business moving forward.

I drove from Santa Barbara to have them tailor 4 pairs of pants. (One local alterations here in SB twice cut my pants one leg 2-3” longer than the other leg) Milt and Edie are the only ones for 100 mile radius I trust will do a good, thorough, conscientious job the first time and they have always gone above and beyond. I am a happy camper with the way the pants came out.

It’s an excellent choice for professional dry cleaning and tailoring service. They have free popcorn, tea, hot chocolate, and some snacks for their customers as well.
