Rubbish customer service. We have our tank installed by them and have come back from holiday and no hot water for a family of 4 people. We called this morning and was told someone from the tech team would definitely call us regarding the software. Chased throughout the day , and finally 10min before closing when I called again they said no-one will call back today, and they will be closed until Monday. They wouldn’t give us the number to speak to the tech support team and offered to give us an email address to make a complaint instead. Absolute joke.

We've recently had our ageing indirect hot water tank replaced with a Mixergy tank, having first heard of the tank on an episode of the YouTube show, Fully Charged, a few years ago.

The concept is amazing and now that we've got one installed in our home, we love being able to minimise the amount of energy we need to heat the water for our house – and using self-generated solar energy as much as possible!

The customer support from the team at Mixergy has been faultless – I must have sent a dozen emails back and forth in the run-up to purchasing the tank, making sure I fully understood how it would work and how it would work alongside our solar panels and Tesla Powerwall battery. The answers always came back quickly and in great detail.

The excellent customer support continued after the tank was installed by our local plumber, with one of the team being available on their mobile over the weekend after installation to address a few concerns we had (a strange smell in the hot water turned out to be residue from brazing during the installation process which disappeared after the full 100% heating cycle).

The whole customer journey with Mixergy has been exemplary. It's testament to their focus on customer satisfaction that throughout the whole process I felt like I was their only customer – something I very much try to emulate in my own business!

Really enjoying my new Mixergy hot water tank. It looks great, but the best things are that I can monitor how much water I heat and use, saving me money but always ensuring we have hot water, and do this from my mobile phone. The tank also integrates with my solar panels to get free hot water. Highly recommended.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel others need to know. We used to fit Mixergy cylinders but we eventually had to say enough was enough. We continually had quality issues with either cylinders getting delivered damaged or leaking after being installed. Mixergy were very poor at responding and non existent in actually paying us to sort the issues out. In the end it just was not worth our while fitting them. Great idea poorly backed up.

I'm really pleased with my Mixergy tank. It was installed in December and I immediately noticed how efficient it was compared to my old tank. I am not technically minded but James from their Project Team has been brilliant at clarifying any queries I have had. The tank is really easy to programme and control and I love being able to heat only the water I use each day. If you have guests and need more hot water, you just give it a boost and it heats the extra amount quickly and efficiently. It's brilliant!

Loving the Mixergy tank all round. From its flexibility with how it’s heated through to the ability to know how much hot water is in the tank in case more is needed for a bath/shower. Excellent customer support and the care plan is worth its weight to know that the tank is performing as it should.

After seeing Mixergy on Fully Charged a few years ago, I decided to try and import one for our new house build in New Zealand. Landing and installing the 150 litre tank was relatively straight forward with no compliance issues. The sales and support teams were amazing and coped, with their only customer outside the UK, fine despite the time zone difference. Now that we’ve been in the house nearly 12 months I could not be more pleased with the operation. For two adults, we only heat 20% of the tank and have never run out of hot water. I look forward to using the tank as a battery once we get PV installed too. Thanks again to David and the team and I hope you can start exporting to NZ and AU soon.

Had our Mixergy tank installed about 4 weeks ago and already seeing benefits.
Our boiler now heats water from 06:00 to 08:00 every day as opposed to 05:00 to 11:00 pre-Mixergy. As the weather improves I expect to reduce that 2 hour window as well.
Previously surplus solar panel power generated was directed, via the iBoost, to the immersion heater that was in the top of the water tank and gave a limited hot water supply. Now, all the surplus power generated, when not powering washing machine / tumble drier etc., that previously went to the grid is now heading to the Mixergy tank and we are seeing 60% plus tank heating on good sunny days.
But I have two requests of the app:-
1. Can you give iBoost users the ability to record the amount of power saved daily from iBoost to the app and the ability to graph that in the data profiles? It would be interesting to see how this impacts savings.

2. All this new found cheap hot water is being appreciated in our house. Can we have a facility in the app to sound a beeper or alarm when the tank drops to a given %age? This would then provide a timely warning to whoever is in the shower that they are about to run out of hot water!! We have a big shower pump!!

I can also see some great potential in how the app can develop to benefit users in the future and look forward to learning about any new features that may be in the pipeline.
